So was it worth it? I thought the movie was a super cool flick!
Del Toro is a really stylish director. But I thought that the
choppers flying the robots on the cable was abit comical! :)

Completely OT but the missus and I went over there for a cheap 5
week break before our 1st came along. Holiday of a lifetime deal
because we've always been a bit brassic and probably always will
be. Absolutely loved it. Great people, great history, fantastic
variety. Went from Bangkok thru Ayuthayya to Chiang Mai then
back down to Phuket. One of the very few places I've been to
that I could see myself living. Actually, possibly the only
place other than SW Eng, where my family are and the North
Downs, where we are.

After spending 3 years going over 3-4 times a year was made
redundant from my job so took a year out to live over there,
best time of my life to say the least, bought a motorbike within
2 weeks of being there and travelled everywhere on it, was based
just south of Bangkok and during that year travelled to
Cambodia,Vietnam,Laos together and to Burma myself (herself
wouldn't go not a lot of love for that country in Thailand)
also got married over too.

Cool. Nice bit of travel there. Spoke to people who'd crossed
the borders and most said it could be very different, Thailand
is so easy for the European traveller.

bloody everywhere. Pulling up to the lights in the hire car was
like being attacked by a swarm of wasps. Did hire one ourselves
but not in Bangkok, f**k that! Drove up the mountain in Chiang
Mai on one, forget what it's called....

Welcome to South East Asia guys!! Thailand is one of the best
countries around the region other than where I live in. Bangkok
is one of the lost cosmopolitan cities with loads of history and
culture. The people there are also very friendly and hospitable
to tourist amiably cause Thailand lives and thrives on tourism
since all of modern time. For those who have not been there,
highly recommend u guys to fly there. For a more sunny kind of
getaway, consider Phuket, Hua Hin and Koh Samui!

Yes mate - watched it last week.
Superb film. Was an emotional wreck by the end.
The scene at the resort, when it hit, was breathtaking.
Watched 'What Richard Did' last night.
Some excellent performances in that. Particularly the Dad.
Bit slow though. If you don't mind slow, give it a go.

Hmm... Must say that I did enjoy TDK more. There was so much I
there - the Joker knew how to create anarchy.

I would agree mate, think the story is better compared to the
other 2 even though The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises
are much higher profile films.

Just catching up on Top Gear that I missed when I was away.
Whilst it is so scripted (sounds familiar) I still find it quite
amusing.

Its really scripted but still funy
I'm watching a new show called Crossing Lines, good show till
now and a great cast

Batman Begins is super, TDK also. I was a little disappointed in
the last one, for very finicky reasons. Score was way too loud
and actually ruined some scenes. Whatsisface, the bad guy....
Bane, was completely unintelligible at times. It just wasn't
dark enough, by a long, long, long way. Batman belongs in the
shadows, 1st appearance in the film? Screaming along a brightly
lit underpass on that monstrous bike....

If Heath Ledger hadn't sadly passed away, you think the script
for TDKR would've been completely different Cuz?
