Ah yeah ... have actually enjoyed the next few episodes of that.
Jon Voight is playing one real mean SOB.
Started watching Graceland - caught up on all 6 episodes today.
Yup - was given plenty free time today. Well, actually watched
them whilst playing UT.
Who says men can't multi-task :D

Yea like to watch the odd series or two
Falling skies, Walking dead,House and 24
Do watch a lot of the crime one's
Criminal Minds, CSI, NCIS, Law and Order also watch a lot of the
programming on Discovery Deadliest Catch, Gold rush and any of
the Doc's on South East Asia with the wife being from Thailand
and living over there for a while have grown to love that part
of the world.

Completely OT but the missus and I went over there for a cheap 5
week break before our 1st came along. Holiday of a lifetime deal
because we've always been a bit brassic and probably always will
be. Absolutely loved it. Great people, great history, fantastic
variety. Went from Bangkok thru Ayuthayya to Chiang Mai then
back down to Phuket. One of the very few places I've been to
that I could see myself living. Actually, possibly the only
place other than SW Eng, where my family are and the North
Downs, where we are.

After spending 3 years going over 3-4 times a year was made
redundant from my job so took a year out to live over there,
best time of my life to say the least, bought a motorbike within
2 weeks of being there and travelled everywhere on it, was based
just south of Bangkok and during that year travelled to
Cambodia,Vietnam,Laos together and to Burma myself (herself
wouldn't go not a lot of love for that country in Thailand)
also got married over too.
Been awhile since we were back over as a family the wife has
been as her father hasn't been well , but did build a house on
land her mother left her when she passed.

Cool. Nice bit of travel there. Spoke to people who'd crossed
the borders and most said it could be very different, Thailand
is so easy for the European traveller.
Motorbike, lol. Only tourists walk, we discovered that! Mopeds
bloody everywhere. Pulling up to the lights in the hire car was
like being attacked by a swarm of wasps. Did hire one ourselves
but not in Bangkok, f**k that! Drove up the mountain in Chiang
Mai on one, forget what it's called....

Ran up em mate ;)
Funny actually, wife was about 8wks pregnant, the stage where
they're permanently knackered. Almost had to carry her up. Even
funnier, we found out she was carrying on the 2nd night of the
5wk trip.... doh.

Not to dampen the conversation, but has anybody seen The
Impossible? Personally, thought the did a really good job
capturing certain scenes.
Amazing the damage/devastation that the tsunami wreaked.

Yea Kiwi seen it i thought they captured it really well, but the
wife wasn't too keen on it was over there when it happened (not
in Phuket thank god).

Any of you guys a fan of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight
franchise? Planning on watching them all again tonight or
tomorrow, think Batman Begins is incredibly under rated compared
to the 2 films which follow it.
