TV and Film

Given how many discussions went on around TV programmes and to a
lesser extent films, I thought it might be a good idea to have
thread devoted to them.
As far as tv goes this is the list of stuff I am currently
watching, or will be watching when the new series starts later
this year
Castle
Body of Proof
Game of thrones (obvously)
Elementary
Sherlock
Hawaii five-o
NCIS Los Angeles
Arrow
Perception
Ripper street
Trollied
Mad Dogs
The fall
Banshee
And I'm sure there are loads more that I can't think of right
now
And my all time favourites are
Miami vice
Life on mars / ashes to ashes
Auf wiedersehn pet - I watch the 3rd series of this at least
twice a year
Spooks

Speaking of Film, just sitting with the lad to watch the first
lord of the rings , since the Hobbit he's wanted to watch them

the lotr trilogy would be on my top five film list

Love them myself have all the extended editions, will be nice to
watch them again been a while

Great idea. Name change to 'Spoiler Alert!', lol.
Enjoyed the making of LOTR more than the films. Think my missus
made me watch them to often. Felt like it was a bit soapy in the
end, lots of emotional close ups to spectacular pans. Bit
repetitive and not particularly creative, directorially.
Saying that, I did enjoy them 1st time round. More of a reader
tho and watched the films after the books.

Breaking Bad is epic mate. Some
hilarious/scary/emotional/plain-old-LOL moments in there.
There are so many good TV shows - just depends on what you're
after.

Started watching "Orange is the new black" series in
Netflix..pretty good so far, highly recommended..
