Have you done any of the Liga NOS or MLS squads? I've got
pushing 250k already, but still don't want to overpay for some
of the crazy priced silvers. Have done the four cheapest NOS
teams (Benfica, Porto, Firenze and Estoril) but paying 10k for a
Sporting silver is just madness! Will do them eventually but
only for cheap so that its actually worth doing.
Haven't done any of the Sterling ones at all.

Yeah mate - not focused on those at all - only finished 2 of
them.
But ... first game of the Champions Cup that the kid won 8-5 ...
this guy was using the Special Jonas card. He scored 4 long
shots from 4 shots - a few with not even a hint of a run up -
within the first 30-odd minutes of the game. If there was reason
to finish it off, I may just do it for him!

Sold another sydney player for 10k max quite sad really, hope
for further ones they think before asking for ridiculous
unreachable targets for these

Thought we'd go back and give Liga NOS another try. Got to
completing 7 of them - only one outrageous purchase - a silver
Sporting CP player for max - 10k :o :o. He was the only 1 on the
market at the time!
FYI - the requirement is 1 minimum for them, so check your
clubs. Checked this morning - a few minutes ago there were 7
cards - all Max BIN. Now, only 5 left. Nuts!
But ... not all doom 'n gloom. From one of the '2 rare player'
packs, did pull Di Maria - cool 75k. Take that, add the
individual rewards as well as the 30k you get for finishing it
all off & and possibly another 50k for what one would pay for
that special Jonas - equals approx 175k-200k.
I'm pretty sure the cost will exceed that! We've only got about
9 players needed out of 121. 18 of them will be generic Liga NOS
players (probably 10k cost), but the other 103 ... well, you can
easily average 3.5k-5k per card! Not going to spend 300k+ at the
moment. Will slowly (very slowly) bid on players and see where
we get to.

am also working on the ultimate one ... cost me a few actually,
inspired by kiwis version, but put on the left side carrosco
gabi gameiro ...
hard packs were also lame for me

i am thinking to ... but as its not time limited - i will leave
it happen during the course of the year ... i am opening packs
anyway.

so who was the champions cup? typical sweat fest? what is the
prize you are going to have - how many wins?

Well, started to buy players slowly today. Nowhere close to the
averages that we would have paid last night. Some below the 1000
mark easily.

Very stressful ... and I was only watching for the last 15-odd
games! 22 wins got Gold 2 (45k and 1xRare Pack + 2xMega Rare
packs). Some games weren't bad, but some were beyond ludicrous.
One guy with a 5212 (had a ST sent off) went ahead with a
wonderful dodgy penalty. And then he parked the bus ... the kid
was playing, and battled for about 70 min trying to break the
guy down - scored late in the game, game went to penalties (I
took over) and got the win ... thankfully!! Literally ... blood,
sweat & tears.
Like I said in the 'stories' side, playing the last 2 games in
seasons (D2) was an absolute breeze after that. Calm, relaxed
stuff.

New SBC - 7 players in 1 club with 7 nationalities & all gold.
People are onto the likes of Galatasaray & Olympiacos pretty
quickly - non rare Kolbeinn
Sigporsson going for 3.5k in open bids. Crazy stuff.
