Well, I gotta say.. playing a couple of nights now on 16 has
reminded me why I quit 15 in the first place...
Playing online against little sh!theads who just use any trick
in the book to win, is simply the most infuriating way to spend
four hours.
They either go all out high pressure from the kick off, OR wait
for me to go ahead and THEN go all out high pressure [slow
clap].
And with my players' inability to string three passes together
in this new version, it takes the effectiveness of high pressure
to a whole new level.
I can't get out of my half, and I simply no longer have the
inclination to try and figure out how to.
No pleasure to be had playing this game online against these
ar5eholes. What. So. Ever.
Let them have their stupid fncking high pressure game... I hope
they'll be very happy together.
Just serves to make me angry.
After my brief slip, I am reverting henceforth back to my status
of ex-FUTter.
This gamer is a FUTter no more.
This FUTter has ceased to be.
Gaming that makes me angry is pointless.
PS. See how angry they've made me?
PPS. I am going straight back to GTAV to mercilessly slaughter
some shopkeepers and mow down some pedestrians to ease the
aggression out of my system.
PPPS. Enjoy your game guys. I quit (again).

Aw Nop.
I thought near on 2 years gaming without 'randoms' might've made
me super susceptible to that kind of rage but I think it's made
it easier to take on chin so far. At 1st every little thing they
did was irritating me, and still does to a point, one extra turn
on the ball was all it took for me to start rolling my eyes and
muttering twat... It's actually not been too bad, I've not
received a single gloating or insulting PSN msg, which has been
disappointing. Shame they still have the shush/violin etc and
have now added the TV camera angle. Pillocks, everywhere
pillocks.

Damn ... 35k packs are decimating prices - no one spared. Well,
maybe the very high ones are ok - not checked those.
Pretty much a 20% dip in the club value. BUT ... opened the
'free pack' and managed to halve that loss - got Lewandowski! :o
[/quote]
now thats just not fair :( i need more Lewandowski in my free
packs

Yeah - it was a fortunate one! Probably the best ever in terms
of those packs.
Definitely made things a little easier on the 'club value',
because it has been a big drop.

Back from holiday and time to try out my teams and I'd like to
give a balanced and rational view of the game but quite frankly
it's the worst FIFA game I have ever played, it's utter garbage.
Every aspect of the game is broken.i have no control of my
players, they can't pass, shoot or tackle, it's like they are
running in glue, the ai is atrocious, I've lost count of the
short 5 yard passes I've attempted only for the ball to fly
across the pitch to the opposition on the far touch line. My so
called world class players wobble about the pitch as though they
are tony Adams after a night on the lash, my defence is static
and seems unable to even try to move into a reasonable position,
my keepers are rubbish whilst when I do manage to fluke a good
shot the opposition keeper fly across goal as if they are on
tripwires. Right rant over time to play anything but FIFA

Had plenty of games like that over the last couple days
Sherlock, but following Eric's instruction and example, I'm
gonna stay strong. Good sessions do happen and when they do, the
football can be pretty great.
Static defending is the one thing I've been most frustrated by
in my many recent draws/defeats. Either they collectively stay
put and allow the opposition free reign or the guy I'm about to
switch to has quite purposefully stepped a yard or 2 AWAY from
the good position he was in, effectively moving himself out of a
tackle/shot block and giving the attacker direct line of sight
to the goal. So I end up switching from a half useful position
where I might apply a bit of pressure to a completely useless
one, spectating the open shot.
The passing AI can be very annoying too, missing the intended
recipient by a yard and trying to find one some 20yds distant,
helpfully positioned the other side of several opposition
players.... Always a great way to set someone up for a deadly
counter attack if you're particularly fed up with winning games.
I do wonder whether messing with the assistance settings will
clear both these up. I remember mucking about with them before
to useful effect.

Hi everyone : )
Howz life? I hv been very busy in the last few months. New job
since may, been working like a dog, overtimes etc. On the bright
side, wife was at her parents summer house with the babies. So i
had 3 months of "lone times" : ) at home and max of fifa and bf.
Maybe some of you would remember, have left fut due price ranges
where i was making like half a million a day with IF trading
before the ranges. Lost appetite at some point... then we
started to play a draft league among friends, said why not, a
different version of fut (funny enough they implemented a draft
version this year) anyway.
Proud to say, i dominated it out of 12 leagues i managed to play
in 9, winning 7 and a second place. It was a lot of fun.
We said to do it with fifa 16 as well, my concern was the free
time i could spare, wife and kids are back; job is still hectic,
so i was the last of the bunch to get the new game. First tourny
is down i am sitting on 7th out of 8 : ) so my throne is gone.
They had already 200+ games while i did not have more than 20...

So my view of fifa 16, it really is a good game, with a lot of
flaws of course, but it is just growing on me.
I am pretty sure fut is full of annoying kids. I do play a bit
of fut draft tough since i have many accts i am using the free
tokens : ) could bot get past 2 wins tough.

Welcome back, good that all is well! The new game is such that
if you haven't played from the start when it was released, being
a month/few weeks behind everyone else, it is going to be a
struggle learning the new game without getting a lot of losses
quickly.
It is a decent game I think, but if EA doesn't tone down certain
things, high pressure/stamina top of the list, they will lose a
significant number of people playing the game. It is beatable,
but it's a lot tougher than previously, and there are a lot less
viable ways to play to be successful. Even without lob spamming
and pace being lessened, games are not of enjoyable as they
could be in previous FUT's. Literally everyone uses crazy high
pressure, and a lot of people have left the game from what I've
heard.
I think it is a big month for EA. The release of these big hero
cards this early stinks of desperation due to fall in pack sales
before the next set of accounts are due, which I believe is the
next week or two.
The gameplay patch is huge. EA need to get it right. They have
to drop high pressure.
