And ... it players pretty damn well - lots of fun. Even Ginter's
63 pace at RB, is not horrendous. Actually, even playing against
Reus, Sanchez and a number of other speedster, he's not been
found wanting. Everybody contributes well, even the shortish
Navas.
Kane - even liked him :D.

Holy bejeebus!
I wonder how they 'fixed' the IF curse, considering it was
'never broken'.
Swapped Barzagli out for Chiellini and the defence seemed a bit
stiffer, probably luck of the draw. Still a bit weird but the 2
back to back losses I had might have had a little something to
do with me having secured Div 5 status in just 4 games. To be
fair, both opponents were really good.... suspiciously so... -_-
Selling Chiellini (for a profit!!) gave me a chunk of coin to
try some guys out in the B team. Well, Nainggolan has been tried
already, quite extensively. A few games, a few wins, it seems a
very nice combination of blokes. Rakitic feels like a lovely
player and the other new new guy, Alba, was very impressive.
Pereyra, who's finishing cost him his place to start with, has
finished everything with aplomb, including a couple strikes from
20 odd yds and a 30 yd lob. Actually had a 3 nil win where Tevez
did not score. Quite a rarity these days.

That's a good looking team - must say. Good to see that Muslera
is a decent option, which makes that hybrid work well. Also,
glad that headers aren't OP so your short-ish CB's (even though
both have more than enough jumping!) are not a liability.
Tevez - still playing well though? Must say that this weekend
was downright horrible and his record has dipped below
a-goal-a-game. Well, not all bad as Van Basten is now 85 in 82 -
he has been scoring heaps now.

Built this last night:

Started with the premise of Muller/Gotze as a perfect link in
4222. But, given we that full IF team in 433, decided to go for
a hybrid, with the key issue around everybody having 80+ passing
- card stat. Turns out to have a dribbling average of 80, given
the stats on those CB's!
Srna is monster (only NIF with 80+ passing) which meant that IF
Marlos with the position change becomes handy. However, that
immediately exposed my min 80 passing rule. Additionally made a
little less possible given budget constraints. IF Teixeira is a
whopping 133k :o!
75+ Passing is now the rule. NIF Teixeira at 1.5k is a little
more palatable. Given that change, I may bring in Italians
(Florenzi / Candreva / (choice of CM's).
Anyway, funny that fullbacks have more passing than the wingers!
LOL
Looking forward to see the

Well there's a coincidence.
I decided that if my defence was going to be randomly dodgy,
regardless of personnel, I may as well not have 45k locked into
an 88 rated CB and losing with lower rated CBs is defintely more
palatable. So I sold the PSG 3 on a total whim and had look
round at expensive midfield options...
And spent 30k on an 80 rated CB that looks something of a
liability. But he does have immense LONG SHOTS!

My Srna looks cooler than yours :P
Started with Teixera, saw IF Srna linked, then I reached the
point of simply don't care when I saw the specs on the CB I was
gonna have to use. H/M WR be damned. I may be able to instruct
him to sit back.
Teixera would be instructed to get forward anyway, now I'll just
let his WR do it for him.
I also added Alex Sandro, because attackattackattack!
Shame to lose Verratti more than anything but in games where you
just get battered as soon as you touch the ball, his strength
wasn't helping.

Tevez is still beasting it, yeah. Goal a game- no, but he does
keep scoring, no barren spells. Most of the time I share goals
around in 4231, so ratios aren't great but with these, if they
score, he's always on the scoresheet. He is a monster, even when
he ends up on his own.
No header issues with the CBs either. Rakitskyi will test that,
5'10" with 76 jumping.

LOL ... yeah - had Rakitskyi in the club for ... weeks. Never
used him ::). Those long shots look tasty indeed :D
And yes ... your Srna looks way cooler! Partly the reason why
the kid built that full IF team - the gold IF cards look 'sweet
as' this year. We now just need to get them all 'starting TOTW'
- no 'standard pics'.

Srna has been the best full back in the game for the past few
years. Whenever they brought in Shakhtar. Also IF Ratkitskiy was
decent for me. H/M CB's aren't really a liability anymore. The
instructions seem more powerful than the players' workrates.

Ah yeah, turns out the default CB instruction is for them to
stay back, so he does what he wants. Wasn't too bad at all, he
just defends much higher and more aggressively than normal,
which is kind of entertaining. He did pop up at inside right
during one counter attack, I obviously messed my keks and
desperately tried to work a shot from him straight away.
Srna was indeed excellent, his crossing seems a huge threat.
Given I have Martinez up front, I need to get that happening
more.
So. I just did this.
HTML http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj538/cuz05/Ateam_zpstu7cc23j.png
Looked long, long, long and hard at where I could spend my 23k
on my 2 teams. Gave up, they are as they are. So I wondered,
hmmm, if you're going to have to look at BPL teams, let's do it
right.
Oh my sweet goodness. I knew it was an overpriced league but I
didn't realise how overpriced. But FUThead is a mite behind the
huge crash that's happening right now, hehe.
I still went bargain, 18k that team. Most shockingly, given how
overpriced it is and how excellent he looks, Cazorla cost me
7.4k. Possibly one of the best value for money players around. I
hope.
Now obviously, it's instantly one of th coolest BPL teams you've
seen, no Sturridge, Sterling, Walcott, but the wise among you
will have spotted that all 3 CAMs have 5* weak feets, which
strikes me as irresistably cool. Shame Dembele doesn't anymore
or I'd have altered the balance to get a 5th one in that mid.
H/H full backs too, which I like.
And it's still a bit sweaty, it has Ogbonna and Benteke.
Might not use it long but it's worth a crack. I called it
OhNotBPLAgain.
