Goals and great football yesterday afternoon, saved myself from
relegation to Div 4 and earned a new CB.
In the evening, stupidness, got relegated to Div 4 on a 1-5-2
record. Did earn another CB...

Now I just need to quit working during the day so I can use them
in worthwhile fashion.
Very surprised I can afford such a high rated team at this
stage. Not a penny traded, not a pack bought, it's all match
income. I've barely even sold any former teams for profit.
Prices are just comparatively low for the guys in this line up.
Aguero costs more than all 11, Pogba costs half, you could get 3
Alabas...

As a gardener, it's a mite impractical but I could give it a go!
Such a pest tho. I'd say 90% of games I've managed to play
before 3/4 pm are good. With this lot, really good. It's
possibly almost the reverse when I usually get on, around 9/10.
Although with Silva in last night, I at least didn't lose with
them.
Didn't win either.
Ironically, my one win came against the highest rated team I
played, using my B team...

So with Benzema gone, and me now over it, I have the beginnings
of a fund pot for a signing (spent some on Marchisio).
Looking at the 'B' team, it needs a new top top CB to replace
Castan.
It seems that Thiago Silva fits just that bill... as inspired by
Cuz.
@Cuz - how is the whole H/H working out for you?
Or David Silva into the A team... hmmm
Let the saving begin. A way to go yet mind you...

Well. Last night was not the greatest test bed tbh and I only
played 4 games. It was a sluggish, passing graveyard for the
most part BUT, I think the team conceded just one goal. Which is
pretty good considering the usual way these things go.
As for him, feels like he did well. Didn't really notice him
wandering up the pitch at all, but I didn't really hold
possession much up there. What he was doing, which seemed
different, was roving around in general at the back, quite
possibly in a good way. The CBs ended up switched at times,
which was pretty unusual. I think because he will step fwd and
track the ball higher up the pitch, so he gets pulled about,
then the L/H guy behind him fills the gap.
What I do have is a high defensive WR on both full backs and
CDMs too, so kind of an overload on people charging about at the
back. Silva might find it confusing.
Jury out but I reckon it'll work all right. H/H has got to be a
ton better than H/M.
Has to be said, for a mere 4.5k, Barzagli is a phenomenal CB.
Here's a funny thing, going back to the cost of them. Pogba, 86
rated, costs the same as 87 rated James, Kroos, Lahm and
Chiellini put together.
He is a beast I guess...
