LOL. That is a theatrical dive.
Congrats Kiwi's. Good run you're on.
Got the bog standard version of the game also, no additional
packs :(
On the subject of packs, discovered that gift pack contents you
win cannot be traded. That sucks ultra balls. It's like adding
insult to injury. 1st you get the pack, oo goody, goody, frisson
of anticipation. Of course it's full of useless tat. Then you
discard 90% of that tat for absolutely nothing. Then you store
the 2 contracts and player fitness you're left with, thinking
what a shit prize that was.
So yes, glories, I won a few packs! Breezed a couple offline
tourney's for 2 of em, then obviously wondered why the hell I
bothered. But I also managed to find an opponent for the bronze
final I got to a few days ago, that's a victory in itself, woop!
I proceeded to beat the guy 2-1 with a 90th minute winner from
starter team hidden gem, Costanzo. One of my top 3 bronze
'finds' so far and clearly well en route to being a, if not the,
club legend. Most enjoyable, tense and hard fought game it was
too.
Apart from that it's been cack all wknd. Difficulty of finding
bronze opponents is a pig, especially considering I've really
enjoyed the bronze games, playing some decent folk with
interesting teams and sharing some excellent (far from clinical)
football.
So it's been mostly golds. Which is where the cack comes in. I
reassure myself that I've been off the game a long time and am
still very much getting to grips with it, so I will improve, and
marginally have...
But I've had lots of nonsense performance issues.
The 451 is largely down to me, they're mostly decent in
possession, mostly fairly solid at the back and mostly a little
toothless up front. Which means I can win games, hang on in
games and often, just fucking lose stupidly anyway. They're
alright but I am very prone to losing my way with them.
The 4321 has lost it's way completely, which I mostly blame on
my premature positive review. They've just played like crap a
lot of the last few days, clumsy touches, crazily conceded goals
and lots of stepping over the ball rather than actually stopping
it. Frustrating because the potential is there, they just
randomly lose the plot before I've managed to get a foothold in
the game.
I've been experimenting a little bit, to try and get the balance
which it's probably been lacking, that's probably not helped.
I'll post the current look and next level of experimentation in
a few...
Did get a 3rd successive promo to Div 7 tho, 4 games to get 2
points, of course it took all 4. Also got to the gold cup final
without much ado, there I went 2 nil down in 4 minutes, 3 nil
down in 10. Made it 3-1 an hour later and started chasing
another only for him to basically run in a straight line down
the pitch to make it 4-1. Such was the state of my teams play in
the game, I spent the last 10 just punting it into his half.
Feeling positive tho, change is as good as a rest.
Also discovered a new-to-me piece of arsholery. Single games
used to be the most fun with golds. Atm it seems as if you're
just as likely to meet someone with an anti team of no chem
bronzes who doesn't even pick up the controller, clearly
'resting' his A team. I quit one of them after 30 seconds
yesterday, would rather shaft my DNF multiplier than go through
the motions for the next 15 minutes.

Got to my 4th gold cup final, and the usual, lose 1-0 to some
random BS 45th minute penalty. Missed some decent chances to
level it so in the end the standard dodgy penalty should have
been irrelevant.
Played some decent games, although I had my second taste of the
San Siro co-op camera glitch! It's horrendous. Camera keeps
zooming in and out, moving around all over the place. Someone
brought it up on the darkside a few days ago. The comment made
was it is like an alcoholic with Parkinsons filming it on a
mobile phone whilst doing rodeo.
Also just beat some idiot 2-0 that was blatently trying to lag
out the game all 2nd half and run every where with Douglas Costa
whilst doing it. That and the San Siro camera have given me a
headache!
Apart from this though it's all ok. Enjoying the game apart from
getting a bit bored of facing the new tactic that seems to be
standard this year. They can`t lob spam so they spend the whole
game attempting to run up the goal line to get a cheap penalty
or tap in.

Thanks Glad/Cuz ... game is treating us ok, but as mentioned re:
'15 too - the OP teams are definitely needed to challenge for
titles in the higher div's.
@Matthew Mzizi ref / penalties ... yeah, I cringe when I see his
name now on screen. Gave a ludicrous red card - probably similar
to that daft penalty albeit not in the box - where the player
was barely touched, didn't go down, but a red card was given.
Nuts!
@Single games ... not played many, but not had that experience
where the teams are that pathetic.
@San Siro / co-op camera glitch ... damn! Didn't know that. That
sucks.

Played three games yesterday.
Game 1: Lost 1-2. Hit the woodwork 3 times.
Game 2: Won 7-6 on pens after a 0-0 draw. Hit the woodwork 3
times.
Game 3. Won 6-1. Hit the woodwork 6(!) times, including two
shots that hit both posts.
A little bit excessive. Third game was insane. Guy wasn't even
that bad. My CCM, William Carvalho decided to play as a striker
even though he is set to stay back, and got a hat trick and 3 of
the woodwork shots.

LOL TWS ...
Our evening - just finished - was at times, pretty frustrating
too. Defended very well tonight, but some little bump, or
miscalculation ... and conceded at stupid/inopportune times.
Something like a 3-3-1 record - all still in D1.
But, probably the most frustrating was waiting on games ...
again. Eventually played one that even orange! Mistake! Never
again.

Had a handful of games last night, playing with the portugese
433 side. I do like using them. Aboubakar is still a top
player and IF Andre is probably my favourite player thus far in
Fifa 16. He's definitely up there. Results were mixed though,
currently in about my 4th season in div 5, just can't seem to
progress at moment. I feel i deserve too but not getting much
luck in games. Some i have dominated almost entirely then lose
to a sucker punch. Pretty frustrating but guess that's just
how it goes sometimes.

Had a nightmare last night can't even remember how many games i
played but do know i need 1 point from my last game in Div 6 to
stay up :o :o
Quit 3 games due to lag or utter cunt's with lucky goals from
HP, and while we are talking HP its every where am getting sick
and tired of these scum of the earth scrots being able to kick
the living shit outta my players and i win a fair shoulder
charge but i get booked and he gets nothing.
Also on HP again whats with these players being able to press A
within 2 meters of the ball and a leg comes out from nowhere and
instantly controls and then proceeds to blind pass a 40 yard
ball to a ST that can out muscle my CB's and zig zag all the way
into my box and score.
Did win my last game against a full top rated Barca squad Front
3 of Neymar-Suarez-Messi he was shocking looking to run and ZIG
ZAG (see the story of my night here) towards my goal.
Oh and also what is with the scum running until they enter your
box then spinning in circles looking for a pen win at all costs
to a new level.

FIFA Fortune was smiling upon me last night. Eager to try the
433(5) and also with a new signing in the 451, the huge and lazy
Alex Meier. Interested to try a different approach with that
team. Meier is 6'5" with 88 strength and a L/L WR, good
reactions and strong shooting.
Loaded up to a 1-1-2 record in Div. 7 and waded in with a good
performance from Meier and the 451 but only managed a 0-0 draw,
I have no clue how I did not score.
Next up the 433(5) debut. Another bizarre 0-0 draw, this time
the luck was mine. I couldn't get out my own half, couldn't work
out my passing options at all and seemingly had no one
whatsoever up front, wingers were so wide and the CF too deep
and weak. I hated it thoroughly for about 75min. Then I finally
started getting a bit of the ball, enough to try again.
Div 7 record now standing at 1-3-2 ofc....
CUE THE PACE!
Took the 433 out again. Faced a guy playing 4321 with none other
than Abongowhore/Abungalow/Abonghole/Abongalore/Agblahblahblah
leading the line. He was a good player and had me fighting a bit
of a rear guard action. He was hitting the post and blasting
wild shots in. He would've raged tho, Thiago was simply
marvellous when I could get the ball into his feet and I caught
him out at the back a few times on the counter. 3-1 win, his 1 a
consolation at the end. Brought Volland in for Sam, to keep some
physicality in the team and was very impressed. Could even hit
GKs to him for a knock on quite consistently. He even scored.
451 against a 3421 with the pace tactic on overload. IF Gervinho
up front. Was pretty end to end. Can't remember how the early
scoring went but I was 2-1 up, Candreva hit a lovely lob over
his keeper. He then got a daft pen, scored it and 2 minutes
later, scored a header. Gave me the full replay/shh to the
camera treatment. Crash, bang, wallop, equalised soon after and
immediately went 4-3 up. Added a 5th a bit after that and let
him watch the replays. Meier really bullied him senseless. Marko
Marin still seems to be the star of the side tho, such a good
little player.
433 again. Played a full on pace team with Bale, Griezmann and
some other rapid dude. His sole tactic was to dribble at speed
with Bale. Won that 4-1 with Thiago once again weaving his
magic, taking a comfortable lead in the 1st half. Main thing was
the quality passing from Thiago, Raul Garcia and Xabi Alonso.
Moreno was dribbling through him at will as well. Really felt
like I got to grips with the formation in this one.
Promotion guaranteed with 1 game to spare, I played the last
just for the hell of it, no concern for the result.
Played a guy who had a nice considered Bundes 352. No real star
players but quite a nice balance to his team. He played football
properly too but wasn't brilliant, felt kind of bad to beat him
2-1.Genuine drama tho, lateness of the hour, pressure of the
circumstances, (maybe a little scripting), I was hanging on at
the end and seriously rode my luck on a few chances.
BOOOOOOMMM!!! 4 straight wins, goals galore and the 4th
consecutive Div title in the bag. New signings and formation all
working out smartly.
Happy days.
