is it me or are those cup games quite bad/rubbish? Lost another
round and then couldn't find a game in the first round....come
on the Gold Cup!!! How is that even possible???
Switched back to divison and started my division 9 session.
First game was against a Dutch guy (badge, kit and name) only to
see Gervinho (I play every other game against him :( ) and some
more pacey folk. 1-0 victory not so much I can say other than
that I scored my second goal with Maurico. Next game against a
pacey BPL (you can full in the names), high pressure all of the
place. I was playing my Liga Nos team and I really really like
IF Andre,. He will not be sold! 1-0 up and than I get a red card
for abosolutely doing nothing ::) ::) ::) ::) Later in the game
my defender messes up (or actually I) and pass to short, his
Mane scores 1-1 followed 10 minutes later with a double
deflected ball :( 1-2. he celebrates ..... of course. However,
manage to get 1 back and ended up 2-2, with 65% posssesion
(Trophy!) and 80 passing acc. His 35% and 59% (!) did say it
all.

@CAM's ... yeah TWS, do remember the Ozil love. The
passing/dribbling looks like he will be good in that spot again.
@Kielb/nostalgia/max IF's ... 'the days' ... ;D. But, won't lie
that last year was pretty amazing. The CB trio of TOTA Silva &
Boateng, together with TOTY Luiz was ridiculous! Actually had a
thought of playing '15 yesterday. :(
@Glad ... interestingly have not seen an IF Gervinho as yet -
quite shocked!

Went on a decent run tonight, won 5 in a row but just couldn't
win the 6 and of course that was the gold cup final. Was 3-0
down, came back to 3-2 and had the guy on the ropes, but my
controller battery dying caused mayhem that I somehow got away
with. A tight offside against IF Slimani in the last minute
scuppered things though. Never mind though. A run of decent
games that didn't contain a single annoying opponent is a decent
result.

LOL ... :D
A few changes today (mate didn't pitch up) meant we could get
some game time in this afternoon/evening. Ended up finishing off
the D2 season 7-0-0 (think we had the first 4 wins from y'day).
Onto the first challenge for the D1 title. Started well with 2
wins, then we rage quit (around the 30' mark) - simply could not
stand the through-ball/driven pass spamming to his 'strikers' -
Walcott & Shaqiri - as well as an attempt to start playing the
ball around at the back . Moving on ...
3 wins & a draw made it real interesting. 3 games remained &
needed 2 wins and a draw. Managed to fight back from 1-3 down in
the next game, to scramble the draw scoring in the 81st & 90th
min. Phew!
Next game - down 1-2 with 10 min and finally managed to net the
equaliser. Continued the onslaught & Marchisio came SO close to
getting the winner. But, his Courtois made 14 saves and played
to a 9.8 MOTM rating ... ::). Ok ...
Had 1 final game after bringing in Depay for Mirallas - stuff it
... playing KDB on 8 chem. Got a rage quit after 15 min. Enough
for the day 8/9-3-1 result - very happy with that!

Missus was out for the evening, and the teams have been
performing, so played even more today ;D.
Had the one win from last night in D1 and things got better.
6-2-0 meant a first D1 title win (at the 2nd attempt) and the
Ultimate Team kit - applied it but need to change the away kit
now to suit:

Wasn't a bad night for me again. First game was a laggy mess,
including several near 10 second freeze ups. Was impossible to
defend or change player properly and ended up losing 5-3.
After that did ok, including winning a game where that stupid
Matthew Mzizi ref gave THREE ridiculous penalties against me in
the first 20 minutes. WTF? Saved two of them and won 5-2 but
some of the fouls on me that didn't get called were crazy.
IF Slimani is doing well, going at a goal a game. Locadia in my
other team has also upped his strike rate a bit.
Am enjoying things, but hate playing these 40 chem mess teams.
They always seem to have enhanced interceptions and I always go
behind against them somehow off their one shot, but normally
beat them in the end.
Also scored a 40 yard rocket of a free kick with Mereles.

For the second week running I've been randomly given a free gold
pack. I just bought the cheapest version of the game, so have no
idea why it's decided to give me this again. Didn't happen the
week before. Or has everyone got one?
It was all discard stuff of course.
