Started this afternoon where we were starting to doubt the team.
We do like trying plenty players, and if a team/formation starts
to get slightly stale, I think we tend to lose focus and
psychologically force a change upon ourselves :D.
The change was also partly due to a string of not-so-good
results. Pretty much had to win the last game to stay up in D1.
Roll out the F9 where Tevez is subbed on ... rage quit after we
go 3-0 up. But, the inevitable was due, so Hazard, Tevez, Depay
(take 2), Coutinho, etc etc ... all out. Will show & tell on the
other thread about the team.
I had to drop the missus & daughters off - they're down to
Wellington for a few days - part of my oldest's birthday
present. So, dropped them & got back to being able to have a
number of games with the new team.
Alternating with between the 2 teams at first, got us 4 wins.
Then, decided to stick to team #1 and finished off a perfect D1
season 8-0-0. They are good! With the last game of the previous
season, 9 wins on the trot - first time in '16 that's happened.

Another day where the game chews you up & spits you out, after a
good run. Typical. :D
Couldn't get much going - eventually the record was sitting at
1-3-3 & this meant 3 straight wins required to stay up. Managed
to eke out the first win 2-1 and then the next was 2-0, but the
2nd only came in the last 5 minutes of the game. Onto the last
game - down 2 goals within 15 minutes ::). Went attacking and
equalised before HT. Grabbed another 4 in the 2nd half.
Objective complete.
But, our time with 3421 is done ... 2 seasons with it & the
first team felt great. But, the 2nd team struggled and that's
tough to keep on with them.
So, moved back to 433(4) with Tevez on 8 chem ... yup, couldn't
care :D. He now has 74 in 74 with 12-odd assists. Sold off
Ramires & Willian & brought in Benzema. Played a few more games
with the new formation - 3 straight wins of the new season, so 6
in a row again. Go figure ...

Pretty standard stuff for me yesterday. First game was against
manic high pressure. It is bad to play against but it is getting
slightly easier as I get used to it. They need to sort the refs
out to make it a foul (as it should be) when they barge straight
through the back of you. Lost 4-3 in the 90th minute after being
3-1 down. He was trying to pass round the back at 3-2 but messed
it up. IF Slimani got a couple.
Second game, manic high pressure, I equalised in the 90th minute
to make it 2-2 and scored again early in extra time. He made it
3-3 in the 120th minute. I won the penalties.
Next was a single match. Manic high pressure, Doumbia, Musa,
Ramires and Walker. Was a chaotic mess and lost 2-0.
Final match in the gold cup quarter final. Manic high pressure.
Had 0-0 written all over it but won 1-0 in the 120th minute.
Last minute goals and high pressure. Sums it up really.

finished my second season with a title. Played against a team
with a Ronaldo (not the lend card) Wow....
Changed back to 451, felt more secured. Only had problems with
those amazing super high pressure teams. Dunno, how EA every
come to the idea to allow that ??? ??? ??? Actually makes the
whole idea of playing football absolete
Right teh good news, bought IF Ben Arfa more for investment
purposes and I made a team around him. See suqad review for
details but they basicly won every game. The Serie A started to
struggle in 451 and I think I will try IF Perisic there.
All in all a reasonable enjoyable afternoon. Mosylu due to the
victories not because of great play (also not from my side).

right , tried to play bronzes, after 20 minutes of waiting for a
bronze cup decided to take them into seasons. It is on my second
account. Was paired against the usual garbage: low chem high
pace. G/S/B. Lost first, won second, dominated third game, guy
had a mic, 1-0.....he turns it off. He scored twice in the 90th
minute. Turned on his mic and started to laugh...
right why do I even bother anymore? Closed FIFA application.
Removed disc, put disc in box, store box in cupboard.

Can feel the pain at times, Glad. Never good. Then, we win a
bunch in a row with a new player & then the addiction is
maintained.
Love the sport, but there is SUCH a focus on UT, that every game
is now looked at through those 'glasses'. e.g. See the Newcastle
6-2 result over Norwich ... Wijnaldum gets 4 ... damn! Nice card
for UT ... but, see that he played in a LW spot & am wondering
about all the 'dark siders' whining about the potential
positional change.
NOOOoooo ... I just want to enjoy/love the game again!

Lol. IF Wijnaldum at LF would be a nice card.
I had a guy on the mic as soon as he took the lead near the end
of the game not long ago. No idea what noises he was making, as
soon as I heard something, I muted the telly.
I'm not minding the opposition much. Playing some decent
players, playing some high pressure/fwd pass only imbeciles,
playing the very rare purist and then the occasional utter
penis.
Bloke earlier was slide tackling a lot, professional fouls,
injured a couple of my guys, high pressure, he was skill moving
everywhere for no apparent reason, basically teasing me I
thought. I don't mind that last so much, inevitably I just wait
and take the ball off them most of the time. But he took the
lead in the 2nd half, I was 1 up in the 1st. As soon as he did
that, he paused, I just forfeit. Not even rage quit, just bored
of playing him.
I don't even mind the high pressure. There's still space on the
pitch, I just have to pass a bit quicker through the midfield or
switch play more than I would normally and play it back more in
defence. Means my usual stultifying possession game becomes more
counter attack focused, lure them out and get in behind. When
I'm not making a mess of everything or getting shafted by the
AI, anyway.

actually had a very decent game against a full Juve team. lost
2-1 to two crazy goals but he was a gentlemen and didn't watch
the replay. Apart from the goalsm, the game was decent.

Just got my usual strange Monday 5k pack appear out the blue. It
was hopelessly bad!
Another hellish session last night. Ended up playing H2H
seasons. UT is all about game spoiling tactics that work better
than they should. So much for Play Beautiful! Did score a nice
volley from outside the box with Vejinovic in my last game. Most
games are just a grind though.

Hey TWS ... did you pre-order the game? If so, there would be
