FUT 16- New Draft Game Mode

Anyone have any thoughts on this announced today?
I'm not convinced. Will it be dead once the novelty wears off,
and will they actually be able to implement it without messing
things right up? This being EA, can they be trusted? If they do
it right it could be good, but could your typical FUT player
risk a loss on there record that would come if they had to use
below 60 pace players in half their team. They wouldn't be able
to defend without Walker and Ramires!
Also 15k to enter with your money back if you lose in the first
round? That'll blatently be two shocking 7.5k packs with
Hangelland as your best player!
Not too long until we find out.

Looks interesting, however as you say it may get old pretty
quickly. Not sure about paying 15k to play it though.

Yea as said looks good but 15k or 300FP is a bit much will be
interesting to see, heard you can pick your difficulty offline
and all that is affected is the coins reward after matches and
not the main prizes :o
Just another way for EA to milk money outta people, but a good
opportunity to try before you buy i suppose.
Disappointed to see NO development of Pro Clubs what so ever
:'(

On my phone so can't see the video above, but have watched the
one from Gamescom from kickoff mode, Barca vs Chelsea. It looks
very fast! Pass fly to the players.
If this is normal fifa, I'd imagine FUT will be even faster. My
worry is that high pressure will be absolutely crazy. Looks to
me like you'll get 0.25 seconds to do anything. If they don't
sort fitness ingame this could be hellish and the usual pacey
nonsense.
Of course it's still a month until the demo and 6 week until the
game. The demo and released game normally are completely
different. We'll see.

Every bit of gameplay I've seen of fifa 16 involves headed
goals, including Alba outjumping Terry. FIFA 14 all over again?

Have watched all the videos too and yeah - it appears crossing
seems to be the OP aspect so far. Some of the driven crosses
have been ridiculous.
On the draft mode - it does seem like a nice addition when
wanting to try out some players. Don't know if I quite agree
with the principal around getting your 15k back in it's entirety
even after losing the first match. Just seems like it will
either be abused, or people will simply quit in that first game.
Kinda like the first game of a tournament.
May just mean that tons of people will be playing this at the
start given access to quality players, right off the bat. Then,
as people slowly improve their teams, a migration to
seasons/cups will follow.

Has anyone actually bothered with this? I haven't touched it
since the first day I got the game, and that was only because of
the free token the web app save.

Ditto. It's far too many coins to risk on the inevitable quick
exit. My token only stretched to one game in it. Bit daft
really, didn't realise you only had one and used it for my first
game on UT...

It's great. Lose after one game, you generally get 2 gold packs
and a silver players pack. Gets better as you go.
Win it all and usually get a mega pack or rare player pack.
50k's worth of packs. It's good also to be able to try the
likes of hero Ronaldo before you buy.
