Outrun is one of my all time favourite racing games, remember
getting it for the Atari St and spent hours playing

That's a good one!
My favourites ...
Last Ninja - love traditional Japan ... this helped it along.
Defender of the Crown - simply an awesome game! Spent too many
hours playing this.
Winter Games / Summer Games - anything sport ;D
World Class Leader Board (mentioned before)
Airborne Ranger!!! - tough to get out of training this one :D)
Even Blue Max

Outrun was very popular, I hardly played it though for some
reason.

Some of the games on that! I loved IK+. There was a rumour that
if you beat a stupidly big amount of level that eventually you
got to fight the old man and he threw flags at you. Don't know
if this was actually true. Damn, I loved Buggy Boy. My favourite
racer on Spectrum.

river raid anyone ? also the prince of persia of pc, when a
friend told me to write `prince megahit` to load the game and
you had infinite of everything ...
that game was dead to me in that moment .. there was one called
boulder dash ... loved that one also. i had canon 64 msx or sth
like that and konami was the main game producer for that ...

I had River Raid. Prince of Persia I could finish in 40 minutes,
think you had 60 minutes to complete it. There was a way to
cheat and do it in about 1 minute though! I had all the
boulderdashes. Some of those levels got pretty tricky,
especially the amoeba ones.
