Darkside for the next week:
Somebuy my IF Alaba, he won't sell, 20% off wahhh wahhhh ::)
Already there are multiple posts over there saying worst TOTW
ever, blah blah.
For me this is one of the better ones! Enjoyed IF Paloschi last
year, especially some game I can remember him getting four goals
in!
I will probably end up buying loads, subject to price ranges.
The silvers and bronze all look pretty huge increases on their
NIF's. I could potentially end up with 10 of these guys!

yeah replied in one thread, gosh people complain way too much.
Very interesting players in this TOTW. Like IF Ramsey depending
on his stats upgrade and price. But Villa is the one I
definitely will buy and use, no team yet but it will come.

Hey Glad - I definitely do agree that when there are thousands
around, and just 1/2% come on & whine, it's not good. I agree
with you that whining saying it's the worst TOTW - yes, majority
are idiots.
But, it's not good on Xbox. Not sure if you have some IF El
Kabir's floating around on PS, but I've not seen one on Xbox in
the last week. And, most times, only 1/2 of his NIF. It is NOT
good.

Ps and xbox are different I guess, most players are on the
market. But what is the difference between not available and not
affordable? End result is the same

If you really wanted to try a player like El Kabir, then sure,
you would have to pay 300k-600k (depending on market conditions,
timing, etc). It's definitely not "not affordable" & you make
that purchase knowing you can get the bulk of your investment
back.
Now, it's non-existent. No chance to get him & as those who have
him, will never sell him given they'd not be in the position to
ever use him again.
This is now limiting team-building opportunities. This may not
affect you directly, but I tell you what - it would kill off the
likes of TWS & his challenge of making those teams, if he was on
Xbox.
Note ... this has nothing to do with playing. With our record,
we could take our 2 best teams and win 75-85% of games. Our
first team, since bringing Robben back in, is undefeated in 10
games. We could go on & on like this, using the same 2 teams for
the next 100-500 games - winning another bunch of D1 titles ...
rinse, repeat.
One word ... boring. This is not what UT is about - in my
opinion.

I definitely would look at IF Ramsey. I need someone to link
with potentially Bale when I do a hybrid. He looks like he has
the most all rounded stats. :)
IF Alaba with that pace at Centreback will be monstrous.

We all have our own angel on this. May be also the difference
between the PS and XBox market becomes eminent here. The picture
you are painting is a positive one.
For the PS market the reality was that a player like El Kabir
would have been price fixed straight away. And yes, there would
be a couple on the market but those would be only affordable for
the rich and wealthy, let's say 1% of all FUT players, may be a
bit more. The rest of the players were not able to try a player
like that, simple because they didn't had the coins. Now these
players (and also IF Ramsey) are affordable for more players,
may be even more than 50%. So yes, there are none on the market
as they get binned straight away but at least a bigger group of
players can use them.
Now I am not a communist, I am a firm believer of free markets
but with some regulation. I prefer this situation above the one
were only a few were able to afford something. Don't forget that
NIF Ronaldo was extinct from the PS market, a NIF player...
But this is just my view on things.

Whilst I do agree with the comment that more people can afford
him, unfortunately the situation is that less people will
actually have access to him. At least in a 'free market' there
are actually items 'on the market'!
Saying 'we will keep it low' so people can afford these cards -
sorry, unfortunately that is just not going to work. With the
volume of coins on the market, they do still have to be
realistic. Together with the volume of coins, they have to look
at the rarity of cards.
My issue here is not the fact that they've implemented price
ranges. I agree - don't appreciate the communistic approach to
this - but, how is it NOT possible to adjust these to a
reasonable value.
Here's an example ... take Messi & Ronaldo - make them a 500k-1M
range. Given that IF El Kabir is 200k & they are less rare than
the IF card, 5 times the value should be 'affordable'. Great,
people can afford him now.
BUT ... with the billions of coins around, they would be snapped
up in an instant & once again there will be no cards on the
market. Does not fix anything ... makes it worse.
Said it before, it wasn't the worst idea, just daft timing!
