wow....some players prices really don't make sense at

Yeah - the Hummels IF/SIF is atrocious. Realistically who will
buy an IF when they've forced the SIF so low. You are basically
stuck with the IF - done!
@Glad ... yes, agreed. I have already said it's not the worst
idea in the world but timing and execution is horrible ... very
poor.

actually the idea is not that bad, it is just the timing that
makes it worse. Picture this at the start of FUT16 and you will
have a different view. Wondering how my bronze players will hold
....
coin sellers can still be operational, I see players being price
fixed at the highest rated anyway. But at least players will not
vanish from the market

don't be so sure glad, toty kroos was pages yesterday, searched
now, its just 7-8 of him ... people don't want to lose on them
at least for now ...
i will discard the toty iniesta, i/o selling for 7.5 m loss...

hypothetical q, what if everybody start listing discard players
for 4900/5000 and contracts 4900/5000?

Per the tracking of TOTY prices, quickly put this together,
using the price as at that 19/01 as the baseline (was the lowest
cumulative price for TOTYs). Then, I added the last column where
some tweaks could be made ...

Robben, Iniesta, Kroos, Luiz & Thiago Silva appear to be in
range with the exception of the 'max' range for Luiz - could
possibly be a bit higher & Robben a bit lower. A few tweaks in
other areas too ...
But ... how the heck did whichever moron calculate Lahm's price!
Basically a 900k/1.3M difference to fall into the same range as
others.
Surely, surely EA have this data recorded - somewhere! We are
talking about 11 of the highest rated cards in the game. It
cannot be hard ... ::)

will not happen as there will always be some undercutting left .
But yeah that would be bad. Consumable packs would solve it
think the timing is bad, picture it at the start of FUT16, I
would actually throw in some money for buying packs. As I know
most players will be affordable in the long term.
People are now screaming that they have 20M tied up in players
that are worth 2M, in all honesty, those were also the players
that bought coins from coins sellers to start with (or used the
coin glitch). This market was crazy and it has stopped that is a
good thing. I am glad that I can afford Bale, Neymar and Hazard
with the coins I have. Bale was rising with 50K a day in the
last week. That is crazy and unfair to people that just get
coins from playing and some small trading.
This is close to a EA store where you can players, a suggestion
that I really liked. A level playing field for everybody.

Yep ... that's what will happen with certain players. The 'low
range' will effectively be forgotten about & the sheep will
simply follow. However, it won't take much to break - 'all
resistance crumbles' & panic sales occur.
The other aspect - as you say with your TOTY Iniesta ... People
will simply hold on to their cards now. Introduction of TOTS may
see some sales, e.g. our SIF Neymar will more than likely be
sold off, but until then I cannot see people flogging their
cards off. Also, lack of trading on the web app makes it harder.

nice overview. There are some prices that are out of sink, that
si for sure. But not look at the prices how they were as they
were manipulated. Start from scratch and make the price ranges
what make more sense.
So rating and league could come into play. Why is IF Maher still
at a price range of 70 - 110? Whereas MOTM Delph is at 15K -
25K?
They are both 77 rated CM's cards, Delph is from the BPL and
MOTM cards are more rare, it should be the other way around....

Yeah - that's I took the prices after the forwards were out for
basically 2 days - meant the prices were more realistic. 25.4M
for every TOTY card is actually damn good value in the current
state!
I do agree Glad - we have been chatting about the 'price list'
concept & this is probably as close as they can get, but still
have a market ... of some sort.
However, it does have that foul stench of control, monopoly -
dictating at every level. FUT 16 will be a very interesting
prospect!

... and yes, your analysis of MOTM Delph vs IF Maher is spot on.
Makes no sense.
