Yeah Eric no chance of him going to Utd, apparently the
president has written to Utd to say Cesc is not for sale
       [/quote]
Love that Barca would write to them to say that. Did Arsenal
not write to Barca about Fabregas? did it stop them then?
I wanna know more about this Martino guy, what his credentials
for taking over Barca job. So he managed Rosario to a title??
last season, but where's the barca connection. Was he the
       Paraguay coach previously as well?

Kind of funny that Barca are annoyed about Utd tapping up
Cesc.... ironic considering their players were basicaly begging
Cesc to leave Arsenal. And I have never heard of that guy
before he was linked with Barca, but really aslong as he is not
a complete idiot it can't be hard to manage a team with Messi,
       Neymar, Xavi, Iniesta etc..

Not sure which I'd prefer, spurs to have Bale or to get a ton of
cash to improve elsewhere... either one is a bad thought :(

Definitely it's better to have bale. They need him to attract
top quality names. Besides they kind of just need a striker and
       a creative mid

Don't see Bale attracting top quality names.
They all know he'll not be around very long.
Only thing that attracts top quality names, is money and/or CL
       football.

It does help get them in the door. Apparently Paulinho wanted
assurances Bale was staying this season before joining Spurs.
In other news, Utd just got turned over by Yokohama and their
defence looked decidely shakey so i hear. Happy with that.

Rumours now that Spurs are after Lisandro Lopez, but the
articles state he may be used out wide also, does this mean AVB
will buy both Soldado and Lopez? Would definitely be happy with
       that.

It means absolutely nothing really but.... I can't help but
laugh at utd ;D Not a great start for Moyes. And if Madrid are
after Bale then it may be easier for us to get Suarez?
