More rumours...
Tottenham have rejected Real Madrid's £81m bid for Gareth Bale.
However, the 24-year-old winger has told the London club he
wants to join the Spanish giants.
Full story: The Sun
Barcelona will make a £25m move for Chelsea's 26-year-old
Brazilian centre-half David Luiz.
Full story: Goal.com
Two very unreliable sources but still interesting stories.
Firstly if Spurs did reject £81m then they are mad, that's more
than CR7 and it's more than Bale's market price imo. Secondly,
Luiz is a 'Barca defender' imo, in that he is not the greatest
defender but good with the ball at his feet, I could see that
happening.

I'd take £81m for Bale, they have a replacement ready in Chadli
(no idea how he'll do though) and think of how much AVB could
improve the side with that kind of money.

I was thinking about Barrios the other week, wonder what
happened to him as i quite liked his style at Dortmund, thought
he could have became a very good player? But turns out he moved
to the far east somewhere, what the **** did he wanna go and do
that for?

For the record, I have a policy of not believing any of the
transfer rumour mill bullshit, or reading anything into it.
It is ALL lazy journalism, to sell newspapers during the close
season, when there is nothing of real worth to report.
However, I agree, if RM, or anyone for that matter did offer
£81m for GB, I would take it.
He is worth top dollar right now.
Which is most likely... increase in value, or decrease?
How likely is he to re-produce another season quite like last
season?
Call me pessimistic... ;D
