So, Bale requesting a move ... ???
.. Morning all!
Edit ... Ignore this! It was Metro Sport, reporting on a Marca
report! Pathetic and lazy reporting ...

while i do agree that there is a problem with the talent
development, i dont think limiting foreign players will solve
it. if a yougster is good enough, he will get a place in the
squad, no matter what. look at bayern or dortmund, players from
academy are playing in starting 11.
recently turkish footy fed brought in this kind of limitation,
now teams are limited to 6 foreign players on the pitch. the
general consensus is that this will do more harm than good. many
teams took this to court, at least trying to get EU passport
players excluded from the rule.
Yea but look at the likes of Guidetti at Man City now i know he
has been injured but do you think he will get the play time he
got in Holland
dont think so (i mean i agree he would get more time in
holland), but then again what has to be stopped is the takeover
of the management of the clubs by a sheik or an oligarch, since
those guys approach is no different than as if they are playing
CM/FM. look at mancity, they sold balo mid season, then tevez
left, they did have dzeko and aguero, they signed jovetic, now
the 4th could easily be guidetti, but they signed negredo (not
liking him), so that is about a manageement decision again.

Miyaichi is a good example too, played loads for Feyenoord and
they loved him, comes back to Arsenal and he hardly plays

Little bit of a random thought but it always amazes me how good
a player becomes at a foreign language when they are at a club.
People study languages for years at school and yet footballers
are normally pretty fluent after 2/3 years in a foreign country
(with some exceptions of course)

Bringing back the foreign ruling imo would just make big clubs
try to get foreign youngsters as young as possible so by the
time they sign pro they would have a UK passport, thoughts on
that?

They already do, the list of young dutch talent that never
reached his potential because they moved to early is endless, in
fact I can't think of anyone that succeeded, stick to the dutch
league till your at least 22, if you transfer then you'll be
good enough to be a top player in the bpl

so true Beuk, think the Feyenoord youth is clever to stay for
another year.
was adding up all the strikers that left the BBVA:
falcao
llores
Soldado (possible)
Negredo
Higuain
so nect year every single BBVA team will have Benzema?
