Can't believe Alejandro Bedoya gets a game for the US national
side, he was god awful for Rangers, didn't even look like a
       professional footballer at times.

Encouraged by this, Moyes you dinosaur :D
Van Persie was withdrawn at half-time during United’s friendly
in Japan on Tuesday because he had experienced tightness in a
       thigh.
Moyes said the substitution was precautionary and that he
expected the striker to be fine, but the new Manchester United
manager was still subjected to stinging criticism from Raymond
Verheijen, who has worked with Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester
City among others and has a reputation for being outspoken.
Writing on his Twitter account, Verheijin noted that Moyes had
previously said United had ‘overtrained’ Van Persie at the start
       of pre-season.
He wrote: “In Sydney Moyes said: ‘We’ve overtrained Robin this
week to build up his fitness’. [In Japan] he picked up muscle
injury. It really makes you wonder how these prehistoric
training methods can still take place at the highest level.

       scientific cowboys.

Oh dear Moyes, one thing you do not want to do is overtrain an
       injury prone ST.
And Atletico Minero won the Copa Libertadores last night/this
morning, first time Ronaldinho has won it apparently :o

I just posted link to story in GD.
Really, bound to be some kind of MOTM for that if it was on.
"Valencia will not let defender Adil Rami, 27, leave for
anything less than £7.75m. The Frenchman is wanted by both
       Manchester City and Arsenal"
Dunno how good Rami is but the more the merrier, i trust
Pellegrini's judgement, nice price too in comparison to others.

This is for me, one of the most intriguing periods in football,
in my lifetime anyway. Will Utd come out the other side of the
Ferguson departure, as the same team?
Lot of respect for David Moyes and the way he managed Everton.
Can he make the step up?
       Totally. Different. Proposition.
       Can't wait to find out.
This pre-season is fuelled with more intrigue than any I can
       remember.

Yeah Jo and Leanardo Silva scored so no obvious MOTM from them
and then they won on pens so I dunno tbh. And yeah 7.75m for
Rami seems like bit of a bargain

I agree. I dont believe Moyes is a dinosaur at all but so much
is up in the air and the enormity of taking over from Ferguson
cannot be underestimated. Fergie held the entire club together,
not saying they will fall apart without him but seriously big
shoes to fill and no mean feat.
Cant wait for season to start for so many reasons. I reckon
after first 10 games we could be talking about most open title
race in years. Can see Utd, Chelsea, City, Tottenham, Arsenal
all being close to each other, dont see anyone running away with
       it tho it could happen.
Deffo cant wait for it all to start and see how everyone does,
Utd without Ferguson, City with Pellegrini, Chelsea with
       Mourinho again, cant wait.

Also, really looking forward to goal line technology, and
players having to shut the f up when Hawkeye says 'no goal'.
No more arguing... no more ranting. No more screaming in the
       referee's face.
       Yeah right.
