Just a side note to the previous post i will be classing
Non-Rare IF's as non rare going forward, as am thinking of
trying as many of them as possible this year to keep it
interesting.

Some real quality teams there BB. I am enjoying the Serie A
defence. Evra has been solid next to the best CB combination and
in front of the best mid priced keeper.
Those are some impressive bargains there too.

Ive opened a good few packs and really had a poor lot from them.
Best players in all of them would be likes of Lukaku and
Jovetic. But hey no complaints ::)
Jovetic scored 7 in his first 2 games for me last night. 5 of
them coming in the 2nd match which i won 10-1, fair to say
things clicked quite nicely last night.
Was browsing some of the higher end of the BPL market for the
first time today. Some interesting variations in the prices,
Fabregas in the same price range as Remy for example. Then you
have Aguero way out at 300k. Obviously pace largely dictating
the prices. Never realised Costa was so expensive, i mean it
makes sense he would be its just ive seen him up against me in
several teams.
But anyway whats the deal with both Nasri and Silva being left
midfielders, which bright spark thought of that. I could maybe
give them Nasri at a push, but Silva as well, what on earth were
EA on thinking up that. So City have no natural CAMs in Fifa
except for Lampard, erm so what did City do last year for
CAM's?? The only positive of it is that Silva is far more
affordable out on the LM position. I mean 30k odds? same
price as Remy ::) who'd have funk it eh.

And whilst on the subject of LMs who should be CAMs and
................. vice versa......... why the hell is Di Maria a
CAM? he doesnt play anything like a CAM so in who's wisdom was
it that decided to put him through the middle. Just makes no
sense.

Yeah Eric - Silva at LM is wrong! Not watched City much, but
that was a weird position. Given that Nasri is that too.
However, I actually agree with the Di Maria at CAM position. I
know that the CL final he played on the left wing, however Real
was mostly playing him at CM last season once Bale was fit. Most
of the United games I've watched have seen him more in a CM role
- something like a 4312 formation.

The 2 United games ive seen lately particularly the QPR one Di
Maria was very much operating on the left wing. And for Madrid
i also recall him playing LM, one game that comes to mind was
the classico where he ran riot and set up Benzema for a goal
with cross from wide left. For me he is 100% a left winger.
Not sure who all of a sudden he has morphed into a CAM. Ill keep
my eyes peeled in forthcoming United games to see where he slots
in though.
PS i do realise i have pretty much singled out 2 solitary
matches as evidence but really thought it was a no brainer that
he was a left mid/winger.

Likewise - don't want to appear as singling out specific matches
as the 'standard position'. For instance - the West Ham game, it
may have appeared that he was playing at a LM position, but in
effect that was the 4312 game where he was the LCM.
Per the results on Skysports, most games has him lining up in a
CM slot. However, like you say, he really shows his worth as a
LW (like the CL final) and it's probably his natural tendency in
game will see him most effective in that winger slot.
But ... this is all just semantics given that some monkey @ EA
probably doesn't see half this stuff.

So, after a sell off yesterday - including Pogba - given that
prices were high, brought in Di Maria ;D. Putting all those
match coins into effect given that packs have been pretty poor
;).
Struggled to get him into the team that we wanted - at CAM.
Unfortunately did not have enough coins left to bring in a
striker that we wanted. So, naturally the decision to move him
into a striker slot occurred ::). Ended up with this:

Di Maria was pretty potent on the ball - can feel the dribbling
& pace. But, he is not a striker! Even his longshots have the
tendency to rise & keep on rising. Struck hard and true (feels
great), but from 25+ yards out, they always go over.
Special mention to Borja Valero who came in after Herrera moved
to CAM ... damn! :o :o. All over the place, winning the ball
from bigger opponents - scored in the first game - a header :).
Will be using him more often.
Back to Di Maria ... 190k investment ... the team did not feel
great. Decided to try a few games subbing in Di Maria in the
Gomez-led team. Cuadrado moving to LW & Di Maria in at RW. He
felt a bit better - definitely more suitable there. Thinking
that we need to move him back to CAM again - do know with other
teams that the CAMs do get a bit wider. Means Zarate will need
to be the striker. Worth it the try I suppose.
