did they change anything with the chem this year? so those red
links are not affecting much.
not complaining, i like it this way,
just realised those are perfect chem mostly
:D

Chem is exactly the same as last year, just they took out a few
of the more obscure links, such as the CAM in 4231(2) connecting
with the two CB's and several others in about half the
formations. Makes it so much easier to build my teams.

I think some people don't like red links at all. Some believe
that they do have an impact, regardless if the players and team
are on full chem. I do think that it's the OCD in us that sways
our opinion on this :D.
Personally, I don't believe it has an impact given it's some
formula that calculates the potential in-game attributes of a
player. Also, there are far more other variables that will
affect the performance of a team on the pitch.
My OCD kicks in and says I should not have a team from one
league :P.

the fiorentina guys ...
but i will get xavi martinez and reina

LOL ... Can see from your teams - not just because of your
challenge, but generally. :D
The only time I have a consistent 'aspect' to the team, is
nations. But even then, there needs to have a different flavour
to it, e.g. at least 4/5 silvers in it.

So, took up TWS very subtle hints about using a specific player
... more specifically his ... erm ... weak foot ;).
Decided to change up the red links team - swapped out the front
3 for Zardes & Dempsey (still had them) and IF Obafemi a.k.a.
"TWS's man":

Played 3 games with them - first was ended after he rage quit
aroudn the 65th min mark - we're leading 6-1. Initially thought
it sucked that the game ended early, but good news was that we
could play again. Next game was a 5-2 win :o. Third was a 2-1
win in some serious lag.
Scoring-wise ... Martins has 7 from 3 games & Dempsey has 4.
Zardes scored the other 2. They really are an incredibly
effective trio. Will definitely be trying to build more around
them.

Indeed - quite an incredible non-rare silver CB.
Must add too - Ulreich (keeper) has been quite impressive too.
Made some great saves.
