I probably won't bother with the demo either. The last two years
it's beared no resemblance to the game you get on the new disc
so don't see the point.

What have they done to Buruk Yilmaz? One of my favourite
strikers, scored nearly 50 goals in my 4141 team the last month
or two.

he was ok last season, just could not score much in CL, but dont
get fooled by the card rating, pace is down by -1, shooting and
physical increased by +1, passing and dribbling got the hit, so
basically a chem card needed : ) he will still be good i guess
...

Seeing this certainly does make me miss a football game :(
What I'm thinking is that I may just buy this, but then only
play offline - co-op with the kid. At least I can play with
different teams. I cringe when I hear that there are 12 million
UT gamers out there ... possibly 9M of them are right tw@ts so
why waste my time on them ... ::)

offline can be very enjoyable too. No fancy celebrations! And
you can try online now and then.
building teams is one of the nice things of this game.

ah yesssss a 75 Gold rated Boetieus!!!!
and Nigel de Jong is now non-rare with upgrade. Him and DDR will
boss the midfield in 4231
a 79 Daley Blind is an insult!
and 76 rated De Guzman. Pretty decent allround stats.
Hmmmm....it will be easy to build a nice Dutch Goldish squad or
an eredivisie one

Heard a few positive things on the darkside. The best is that
stamina matters now, so there be no BPL pace teams high
pressuring all game with negatives for them. Also will have to
use these low pace, low stamina veterans properly and if done
so, they could be amazing with less pressing.
Also heard that lob through balls are less accurate.
Taking it with a pinch of salt though, thing could easily change
in a couple of weeks and with a patch release.....
