the market is part of the fun!
I will buy FIFA15, I will play FUT. But I will not buy too many
IF"s. for three years in a row they have been a dissapointment
(with some exceptions like SIF Aduriz). The exceptions are the
bronse & some eredivisie players (for certain the Feyenoord
ones).
I think I will concentrate on bronse players in the first 3
months and buy a Gold team during Christmas/TOTY madness. And
start playing Golds (even try some divisions.... ;D ).

then i will be better off, with the market i mean ...
this yr, what i plan is right away i will sell everything i get
from free gift packs, just each and every player, last september
lukaku was more than 10K, then dipped to a mere couple of Ks,
then even bottomed as 950c, even it was UPped. will collect all
coins in main acct, then will buy IFs for invest purposes, the
first 4 weeks IFs are always going up. and most importantly, i
will stick to 2-3 first 11s max, every year i go up to like
400-500 players, with no use, this yr i hv melted down those
teams, but still have like 150 players, e.g. just could not give
TOTS lewa a good go since WC mode is on. but i will soon .

shame Kiwi, gonna miss your teams next year :-\
we always buy a footy, regardless if we play FUT or not. Just
taking two controllers and play each other is always a lot of
fun.
FUT hasn't treated me that bad the last weeks. Also because I
play now and then (used to be almost every day). I am just
playing 3 /4 games and start always with 'don't care what the
result is' mentality. If BS happens, I just laugh and in all
honesty BS also goes my way form time to time. The good thing
about FUT has been that I have watched football in a different
way, that I know more about players in other leagues (not only
the big names) and that it has put it in a different perspective
in general. Wouldn't like to miss that.

Not sure what I'll do. Lad has migrated fully across to Xbox
now, and he will buy it on there. But I cannot play on there,
with those controllers the size of house bricks. So it's
whether I will bother to get it on PS.
The gameplay hasn't been my biggest bug bear this season to be
honest, it's been EA. I have actually found the gameplay to be
more realistic than 13. Some of the BS has been easier to
defend against.
Unless I know the market and webapp are going to be more
reliable/stable than this year, then there is little point me
getting it. I do all my work on the webapp.
If my brother gets it then I might, but he is still on 13, so he
may go to 14, and so then might stick with 14 and play online
with him.

until yday, i was pretty confident to up the console to ps4, and
get fifa 15 ...
last nite, played some games, very decent opponents, playing
good footy (managed to get 5 draws in a row), hwr the lag
(whatever might be the reason i dont care, as EA always says its
p2p so they hv nothing to do with it) kills the joy, the button
delay, the lag its everywhere, the stupid first touch becomes
horrible when the lag kicks in. i constantly close the gaps,
switch defenders, and finally manage to tackle the ball, but
then either chiellini 91 makes the most stupid pass ever and
directly goes back to opp, or the ball bounces like a balloon
from his butt, shoulder etc and falls back to feet of opponent.
am not mentioning the DCs. the webapp is down, etc etc, so there
are many signs that bs will be there no matter what. and ea
comes up saying that, now you will see the marks on the pitch,
or the body shape, muscles of the players, their hair flipping
!!!! with fifa 15, the least of the least that i am interested
to see in the new game...
so i might very well sell the ps3 and take a hiatus ... fook
that ... why do i play console games, to have fun, relax a bit,
enjoy, everygame i am stressed about when the button delay would
kick in, let alone it would be there or not from the start ...

Ah ... you make a good point Nop. Building teams came to an
abrupt halt after trading on the web app ceased to exist. That
made a big difference to me.
The fact that they 'say' co-op play will be back on 15, may mean
we get it. Will not be a pre-order though & definitely no season
ticket. Not possible for me to spend another cent on the crappy
product.
And yes Glad, I raved about that the same fact of FUT giving us
a different perspective of world football, think it was early
last year whilst still on the dark side. And, after watching RL
football in the form of the World Cup, recognising players like
Musa/Onazi from Nigeria, was cool.
It ... just ... seriously ... peeves ... me ... off ... that EA
cannot get the freakin' basics right.
In a way, I actually do NOT want to credit EA for positively
increasing my knowledge of football. They don't deserve praise
in any way.

Ah ... OT, your last sentence reminded me of something.
On Saturday morning I walked past the kid & he was playing FIFA
- 2-0 up after about 15 min of a game. Asks me if I want to
play. So, beyond my wife's belief, I took the controller and sat
down. Given that I only played FIFA on the console, my brain
struggled for a minute or 2, to get used to it. :D
He hammered my goals for a few minutes & got 1 back. I then
scored one - with somebody - from about 20 yds out & the game
ended 3-1.
Decide to play another game. Full blown 451 team with TOTS/stars
- likes of Ronaldo/Ibra/Bale/etc etc. Subs on a few more players
immediately - and left Ronaldo playing CM ::). With all those he
starts sprinting down the sidelines to cross abuse. After about
25 min of the game, I stood up and walked away after he scored
from a corner.
Back to your sentence ... I agree it should be about just
enjoying it, relaxing whilst playing, etc. But in that first
quarter of that game, I'm just expecting something to go wrong
in the game.
Last year around this time I remembered playing against someone
with TOTS Ibra. He scored a ridiculous 40-yd effort that swerved
& beat my Neuer. I wasn't even mad. Can't (and won't) complain
as it was a cracker of a goal. He never did anything else in the
game (think that was a 90th minute goal too - from memory) &
drew 1-1.
... here I am ... waffling again ... :P
