       FIFA 15

Guess I'll create a topic for this. Not that I've specifically
been tracking E3, but the kid has walked in & mentioned a few
       things.
The first one he said was the 'emotion in the game' ... yes,
your players' faces will show more anguish than ever before. Or
       something like that.
Then ... he just walked in, laughed & mentioned that you will be
able to do 10 MAN CELEBRATIONS! Holy cr@p ... the dynamics to
get that working must be amazing. Pat that developer on the back
... & better yet ... use a knife on the person who thinks up
       this sh!t!.
       Seriously ::) ...

       lol Kiwi
but guest play will be back too
and in FUT you can create your own tounaments again, not really
new as it was alreday possible in a previous version

Player emotions? Sounds like a cover for when your players start
playing like idiots late on in matches. And these new tactics.
Park The Bus? Surely just Ultra Defence with a different name.

park the bus doesn't sound as an exciting strategy/tactic ;D
I will be taking a different approach on FUT next year, will
probaly go bronse only during the first months. It has become so
clear that stats don't matter that much. Got a goal from 40
yards against me from a bronse player with 38 shot power ???
Would love to see a division structure for bronse and silver
players. But they will never do that as they don't earn money on
       bronse packs.

       Well, I'll be honest - I actually went & did a search & saw
something about "Ten game changing features" ::)
First was the "feeling the emotion". Ok - skip that paragraph.
Then "Context-sensitive team AI" and "Improved tackling" ...
"Smarter players" ... "If you enjoy men with muscles…" ... who
       the hell writes this stuff!
Worse, what daft company allows this to be written about their
       game!
Couldn't turn to page 2 - closed the tab.
The kid played a few games - well tried. First one his opponent
quit after 21 minutes - the kid had 8 shots on goal at that
point. Saw the next one he was up 4-2 after 60-odd minutes.
       Didn't ask how it ended.
Really cannot be bothered & unless the kid really, really wants
FIFA 15, there's no way I'll buy it. I would most definitely
spend money on it, if the daft pr!cks just came out (he he ...
didn't quite mean it that way ;)) and said there would be NO new
       features in the game.
All the thousands of developer-hours this past year was spent on
FIXING the game. No more weird arms spearing through upper
bodies, or midgets heading the ball through the CB's head. Just
please focus on the basics ... and listen to people.
They'll still buy it even if there's nothing new. As long as you
can show us you've worked on fixing it ...
I'm rambling again ... sorry folks.

Sorry people ... I actually went to the 2nd page ::)
But first, this was the last paragrpah on the "If you enjoy men
       with muscles…" section:
"Particular attention has been paid to the chest and shoulders,
with heavily-toned players such as Sergio Ramos, Cristiano
Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic boasting all the relevant lines
and bulges under their shirt. It all adds to FIFA 15′s
determination to vastly improve its visual realism and mimic
what we expect to see from a TV broadcast."
Hands up if you watch football to see the bulges ...
       [hr]
The 2nd page delivered this brilliance under the
       "Gameplay-changing animations" section:
"A range of new animations have been added, some affecting
gameplay and others purely aesthetic. An example of the latter
includes hair movements, so you can now see the long, flowing
locks of Falcao move as he runs, while David Luiz’s ungainly mop
bobs and beats up and down as he jumps for headers and shoves
       his way past opponents."
This game is only heading one way ... downhill ... and fast at
       that!

first of all I will buy FIFA15 regardless what they do with it.
I always buy a footy and I don't see PES matching FIFA yet.
Since saying that they will improve the gameplay is actually
saying it is crap now I can imagine that they only talk about
those trivial stuff at the moment. However, I do not forsee a
big change in gameplay. If they would the defender AI a bit more
with lob passes and take height and jumping really into account
that would good enough for me. I can live with some bouncing
balls, lucky deflections, etc. As it is with real football too.

i will follow suit as glad, probably will buy it regardless...
the only game i play... but on the other hand i dont see a
massive need to upgrade to next gen, for sure i will miss the
facial gestures or whatever they are trying to promote with the
new game, i was expecting more of new things on the technical
side, like gameplay. anyways, maybe i will sell my console and
get rid of those for a couple of years :) we will see...

what do you guys think about the loan player thing? or unlocking
some legendary players from the catalogue, that sounds to me a
move to a UT without a market?

Boy they are really scraping the barrel with these minute,
unnecessary changes. I could understand if the game was near
perfect and there wasn't a lot that could be changed but the
game is terrible! I actually hate playing it (which is why I
hardly ever do). Who would buy this exact game - equally as
frustrating and scripted - just to see higher definition muscles
and more in depth player emotions?
EA have totally lost touch with their fan base, their arrogance
has finally consumed them and they are unable to see that their
game is a steaming heap of shit! I just browsed the darkside and
noticed that even the normal EA flag waving idiots in all their
sycophancy glory have started to turn against them.
I am dying to see what PES is like, it sounds like they have
really tried to sort it out this year. It doesn't even have to
be that good, it just has to be playable and have no blatant
       scripting. viva la pro (r)evolution

I will keep an eye on PES too, but FUT is addictive. If I would
play only H2H than PES would be a good alternative.
on the other hand I have enjoyed most of my online games.
Approaching the 500 games which means if you calculate it back
cost per game it is a safe investment.
