apparently other games have this, cardweight on those big
players is a lot better, so anyone can play or have Ronaldo (you
only need to spend a little cash to buy packs ;)) this will be
the big test for fut 15 probably

I do wonder if EA are testing this to bring it out full scale in
FUT15. Kill coin sellers and autobuyers messing up things, and
people would have to buy Fifa points instead of just getting
coins off a website.
It would be a huge **** for them to do it though. It would be
quite good I think and would lead to some different team for a
while but we'd still end up with the usual BPL 41212 after a
while. Would also be disappointing to miss out on TOTW and TOTS
players that you'd want to use.
Whatever happens, I'd still spend not a penny on packs though
and won't for this WC thing. I'll give it a go, but can't
actually see myself playing it much. It'd take 7 matches to win
it and unless they are magically going to sort the servers, lag
and random disconnects after the match has finished will kill
it.
Also with all the extra lag we've all been getting recently,
this won't help I wouldn't have thought.
EDIT - So the word g.amble is blocked on here then?

Yeah it could work, no trading coins just the pkayers you get.
Indeed would not lije to miss out on certain pkayers but uf they
change the card weight it might work
We removed gambling for Eric 😃

it will be interesting, a FUT without trading? next year? i
doubt it, on the other hand it would be good for players like we
are, hv played like 10-15 games in the bbva cup for instance,
did not see a single benat ...
was thinking about that FUT world cup, there are 32 teams, say
the squads for each country consist 30 players, then we are
talking about a 960 player database. if i open 100 packs worth
of 500K coins (assuming packs would cost 5K), and get like 3
players in each pack, that is 300 players, if duplicates make
around 20% (hope not more), then that leaves me with 240
players. Exactly 25% of the database, if i am not mistaken.
so one forth of everything, and if all the players come with
same card weight, then it all depends on luck if you get messi
ronaldo, or get the full iranian team. i see my chances of
playing with messi more in that mode, than paying 700k and
getting him on the regular mode.
edit> and also if i trash 500k on that mode, i also will get 100
packs for the normal mode so not much of a loss, EA is just
making me melt my coins on packs, i have my teams and players
anyway.

the more I think of this the more I like it. But then they
should open a web shop where you can buy players at a fixed
amount. So after playing and collecting coins you can get higher
rated players straight from the shop. No price fixing, price
bumping, etc. Equal chances for everybody. In the end they
should make everybody able to buy Messi, Ronaldo, etc. Wouldn't
mind playing them at the end of life cycly of a FUT (let's say
somewehre in June) over and over again.

Absolutely agree with you Glad! Having the list of player you
can buy from EA is far better. They still make their money by
selling off Ronaldo's, Messi's, etc.
Also, it will mean that they'd easily be able to get FUT in more
countries as currently certain countries deem buying packs as
gambling. I know there was some uproar a while back due to early
release (or whatever it was) and I stand under correction, but I
think the likes of Australia were not able to do some of this
due to the 'gambling' restriction.

people will buy packs anyway, hoping to pull one. Although I
would miss the trading part (made loads of easy coins this
year) I would embrace it too
