Gabi looks good, so does Martinez, Cahill, De Rossi, etc.

The most-consistent is chosen by the community - EA merely
provide the stats.
In terms of De Gea - IMO he's partly chosen due to the rules
(minimum 5 BPL players), partly due to the fact that most people
on the dark side primarily watch BPL (specifically when choosing
keepers), and partly due to the fact he's not actually been that
bad this season. United are where they're at due to the defence.
He's made some decent saves in the games that I've watched so I
can actually understand him being chosen.
I would not be surprised if there have been better keepers in
the world, but the community has 'tunnel-vision'.

Just been looking at this whilst on a conference call (yep -
pretty boring one).
If they do go per past upgrades, there will be some nice looking
cards in there. Generally pace gets a 4-5 upgrade, so the likes
of Manolas will be a really good card - sprint speed should be
close to 80, 1.89m tall, tackling stats should be mid to high
80's, good aggression, jumping, etc etc. Link him to Holebas
(3pts) good for hybrids too.
