So beat an Aubamayang high pressure lobber in the semi final
with my 4222 team, with a Steven Gerrard hattrick and a
thunderbolt by Bernard only to get "sorry there has been an
error connecting to the FUT servers". Back to the 1st round
again.

Still trying to win the GC with the 4222 and 41212(2) teams.
Just can't do it at the moment. Lost a few early on this
morning, but got into my stride, with 3-0 and 5-0 wins with the
4222, SIF Srna scoring and Eduardo on fire too this morning. A
semi to come but I hope I don't get the aftermatch disconnect if
I win the semi like last time. Still have a 4231 team planned
and did have something else but I've forget it.

Lost a final on penalties yesterday after a 4-4 draw, his goals
were scored on 45, 90, 105 and 120 minutes and 3 of them were
undefendable crosses and headers and one my goalie saved it
straight up into the and of course it somehow went into the
goal. Got to the stage you have to laugh at this shit.
Tonight, won all but one of the matches I played, losing to 3
backpost headers in one game.
The final match of the night played someone with a guest. I
scored early with IF Stokes, but they scored after about 10
minutes after a crazy deflection landed at one of their players
foot in front of goal. One of them shushing and one gangnaming
was enough. They didn't have another shot, and I scored SIX
cutbacks when through on goal. Had to be done. Won 9-1. 3 for IF
Stokes, 2 for IF McFadden, 1 for TOTS Commons, 1 for James
Morrison, 1 for Inan and 1 for Chedjou.
Also played a single match against U Mad. A full Brazil team
TOTS Thiago Silva and co. When 3-1 down the squeky 10 year old
starts giving it. Was very different after I went 4-3 up and
held on! Why do I always get them?

at least you won TWS!
not sure why but at the moment 90% of my opponents are okay.
Happy about that as the game is much more enjoyable. Most of teh
time no replays, unless it was a world class goal. Even got a
'unlucky mate' message after a 90th minute deflection equalizer.
If only you were able to play against the sporty gamers out
there

To be fair, since I started playing again after me week or so
break, I've not played too many idiots and spammers. Think they
are all playing the WC mode.
This morning was perfect FUT. Good games, played some really
good stuff as good as I've played for a long long time. Lost a
couple and won 5, in the process winning the gold cup with the
41212(2) side which I didn't expect to happen before the 4222
team. I was absolutely cutting teams apart, patient passing
moves to pull the oppo's players out of position. IF Stokes and
IF McFadden were getting goals left right and centre. Opponents
weren't terrible at all, I was just in the zone I guess! If only
I could happen more.
Also in the 7 games I played, all 4 fullbacks from the two teams
scored from open play, Hubocan even getting one and hitting the
woodwork twice in the same match, Evra getting a well worked
strike in the final to put me two up, Sarioglu tormenting TOTS
John Terry at LCB in a 3412 and SIF Srna with a low rocket.

So that's 41212(2) done also the Turkish League and SPL
completed from the Leagues. Will now be getting a 4231 (2) team
featuring A-Bundesliga, Liga Adelante and A.N.Other.

The 4231(2) team just isn't working. Think it's the formation.
Just do not like it, I don't seem to have enough players in
dangerous positions. It's just too defensive in FUT but at the
same time, as I found out when I used it before, it seems the
worst formation to stop lob spammers. So many get through your
defensive line. Have won 2 out 4 games with it but they have
both been penalty shoot outs after a 1-1 draw where I have had
way more possession but not as many chances as I would normally
create.
Another problem is that I don't think SIF Alan is suited to
playing at striker in this formation. His M/M and not the best
positioning mean that I often have nobody anywhere near the
goal.
I'll stick with the team, but may have to rethink this formation
and try the players in something else.

time was Ibra - Di Natale. worked pretty well. Think a big
strong striker is essential to have. M/M can work as long as the
CF has H/M or something simluar

Soriano at CAM has M/L, so not too bad there. Played another cup
today and have won 5-1 and 4-2 in the quarters and semi with the
final still to play, so have been doing much better with it
today. Just felt like I was playing a bit better today, using
the CDM's Barkero and Gundogan much better in attack if that
makes any sense? TOTS Jonatan Soriano is very good but the star
of the team, today at least, is Paco Montanes at LM. Feels so
good on the ball and keeps popping up with goals.
I have 3 in 6 with SIF Alan, and still think he'd be much
better, even deadly, in a different formation.

As for the 4222 team, played 44 games, got to 3 finals with it
but still not won the gold cup with it. Will stick at it because
it is a fun team to play with, but might change the 3 Liverpool
players at LCDM, LCAM and LST. Evil though are taking over and
thinking it might be time to change it to Eto'o, Oscar and
Ramires or worse still, Aubamayang, Mkhitaryn and Gundogan! LOL!
If I did that it would be like when Cesc Fabregas said a few
years back, "If you ever see me in a Chelsea shirt, you have
permission to kill me!"
