Tonight, played 4 won 4, Gold Cup number 9 and 343 cleared.
Got a bit lucky in the final, Sturridge made it 2-2 for me in
the 90th minute, and the game ended 3-3 with the oppo missing at
least 2 clear chances near the end of extra time. Took it 3-1 on
penalties very lucky win, but i'll take it after yesterday's
events!
Next up, a 4222 featuring MLS, Galatasaray and the Portugese
league. IF Defoe, SIF Garay and new addition IF Rojo in the
team.

New 4222 team is all ready to go and is shown on the second
post. Still got a few winning squads to upload in the 1st post.
Quite looking forward to using it. When I'm not too sure,
depends on how bad the new bronze tourney is I suppose!

Played 3 games last night, lost 3-2 with the 3421, the other
team having 3 shots on goal, his keeper saving everything. Then
played two games with the new 4222. Won the first match easily
2-0 with goals from Yilmaz and IF Defoe, but could connect with
the server after the match.
Played a second match with the team and won 6-2 after extra
time. Went crazy in the 2nd half of extra time, smashing in
four.
Have the 4231(2) team planned out. Leagues involved are Saudi,
Brazil and Ukraine, IF's if I can raise the coins will be SIF
Srna, SIF Thiago Neves and IF Pyatov.

The game seemed to play horribly tonight. Terrible player
switching, passes going nowhere near where they were aimed,
general sluggishness.
Played a bit more with the 4222. Don't really like the
formation. The wide CAM's I don't like. They may as well be
wingers, like the 442(2). Also my game doesn't seem suited to
it. Not enough short passing options, although strangely I like
the 442(2).
With Yilmaz injured after a 2-0 defeat, I swopped him for Drogba
who I had lying around in my club. He got 2 in a 3-2 win with IF
Defoe getting the winner. The next match got a 4-2 win again a
squad called Cheap Beasts. More like cheap pace! Went behind
early but quickly equalised with a Drogba rocket. Straight away
he subbed off Helton for Cech. He went ahead again when huntered
Varela flew through my defence. The second half I crushed him
with Inan and two IF Defoe goals, the second a rocket into the
top corner that not even Cech was going to stop.
I like the players I have in the 4222 but not the formation.
Hopefully I can win it quick and move onto another formation.

Got into one of those bad bad runs where you can't do anything
right and you find (or the AI does) lots of very silly ways to
concede.
Have started playing with a 451 and things have picked up. A 6-1
hammering of a 46 chem, random pace players team and a 7 goal
demolition of Cech, Walker, Clichy, Kompany and Koscielny with
Eto'o up front was the highlight. 4 goals between the 9th and
19th minute with a 6 minute Pato hattrick in there as well. Also
a brilliant move ended with a chip by 67 rated RB Tim Breauker
over Cech was highly amusing. ;D

The 451 team is:
Pato
Ronaldinho - Seedorf
Piazon - Janssen - Narsingh
Baines - Distin - Heitinga - Breukers
IF Howard
May swap Heitinga with Ron Vlaar and then I just have to have a
LCB and LB with a strong link which could make the defence
stronger.
Ronaldinho, Seedorf and Pato cause major problems in attack but
it's the defence that worries me with this team, especially when
Janssen, the CM despite being L/M decides he wants to play
anywhere but CM! Always a problem with 451.

interesting team TWS.
What about swapping Janssen for Clasie and get De Vrij as second
CB?

This would make 5 Eredivisie players and would break the 4 from
two league, 3 from one rule, BUT thanks for this. Got me
thinking and with Clasie in as CM I have come up with a way to
make things better I think. Something like this:
Pato
Ronaldinho - Seedorf
Osvaldo OR Fernandinho - Clasie - Narsingh
Felipe Luis - SIF Godin - De Vrij - Breukers
Courtois
This looks much better defensively. IF Howard is dodgy, and
Courtois and SIF Godin would make the defence stronger and I
don't really like Lucas Piazon. Have used Fernandinho, the LW,
before and liked him. Could also use Osvaldo there. Will try
this.
What are Clasie and De Vrij like? My only worry with Clasie is
his lack of high but his perfect link with De Vrij is very
important.

sorry missed the 4 leagues thingy ;D
Clasie is a bit like Alonso but with lower stats. Indeed he is
short but his passing is spot on. De Vrij is only 76 rated but
has high 70 stats on the most important things. Next to Godin
would be an interesting duo
