It has changed quite a bit. Runners are now dead in the water.
Making the most of laughing at them the next few days until they
realise that doesn't work anymore. Defenders AI seems to be
better and it is harder to create clear goalscoring
opportunities. Also defenders seem to have better tackles and
this unfortunately seems to mean that the auto tackle to back to
previous levels.
The passing is different, but I have did ok yesterday and won
more than I lost, and have a good start in Division 5, where I
kept out runners with ease.
It seems a bit more like H2H, but I haven't played anywhere near
enough since the patch to make any definite judgements. Also yet
to see any big differences in longshots but I guess if they are
easier will see it more and more as people catch on, especially
the runners who will really have to change their play.

There appears to be inconsistency in what has changed - some
even saying they have not felt a change. The good old connection
issue can be thrown in there too.
I'll only be on later this afternoon, but will definitely be
trying some long shots out :P.

It's definitely changed. The pacey players can't just run full
speed without any loss of control or speed if they change
direction. So much easier to defend against them now. I just
can't be bothered to play it tonight, but being off work for 7
out of the next 9 days due to new shift patterns to cover
Christmas, means there'll be plenty of chance to play it at some
point.

read the link kiwi posted, i concur with most of the comments
par long shots ... am i complaining? no, i was not running
anyway, also had to mention that there are more corner goals
now.
its so strange how game changes to a new different level with
just 1 update ...

Now I think about it, I did score one longshot yesterday that
had me in shock. I was 2-2 in extra time (after being 2-0 down),
when out of nowhere, IF Mustafi appeared on the left wing. The
oppo stood off so I moved it to his right foot and hit it from
near the corner of the box and it flew into the opposite top
corner. Can also remember a couple of headers from crosses that
I scored with Mayuka and IF Senturk. Think I'd prefer this than
runners though.

Played quite a few matches last night. The games is now FUT
13-14 version 1.5. The amount of BS is so much higher, some of
the goals I saw yesterday, both for and against, I've not seen
since season on FUT14. Crosses seem a lot more like 14. Not
quite as bad but it does seem that there are more headers going
in.
The worst things is that high pressure is back to FUT13 levels.
The ball being slowed down and the ability of players to turn
and receive the ball being lower means ridiculous high pressure
is the tactic that the majority have turned back to. Some games
were as bad as playing against Brazil 352 teams on 13. This
together with parking the bus means I've seen plenty of games
with 2 shots on goal between the two teams.
I think it was better before the patch, and that's saying
something. Runners was better than the BS messy hell that has
been unleashed now.
That's for PS3 though so don't know if this applies to PS4 or
xbox.

only played 4 games myself but sofar I find
- runners to be effective as before
- defenders a little bit more off
- and suddenly corners/headers are going in (in my case a 95th
minute equalizer >:( )
- ball control look silly but could be because I was using
Tevez, Vidal, etc.

agree for most of the part ... not complaining tough, with
another update, there will be perfect balance :)
