It helps for passing so much having the camera zoomed out. More
than you can possibly imagine. And if you can control possession
better, they have less opportunities to spam lob through balls
at you.
Another big tip I will give that seems to work against more than
half of the people you play. I touched on this a couple of weeks
ago somewhere.
When you get an attacking throw in, anywhere in line with their
penalty area and works even deeper. Press L1 or L2 (can't
remember which) to take control of one of your players. Run him
past the defensive line and near to the touchline. A lot of
players will just leave you in masses of space because they
don't realise that you can't be off side from a throw in. If
they let you do it, you have a fantastic crossing or layoff
opportunity and I have got a number of goals this way.
Pressing the L1 or L2 button (can't remember) from throw ins to
move you players locks the thrower onto that player, so if you
don't throw it to him press the L? button again and it will lock
off him. If you don't it will still throw the ball to him even
if you point the stick in the complete opposite direction.

So 15 has been out a week now and we all seem to be adapting to
some extent. But are there any tips we can share for the new
game? The 4 new corner routines? The ability to control a player
on set pieces? Custom tactics? Defending?
Maybe we can all pool together things, however small, and help
each others game?

good idea, well running is something you should avoid. Giving
you extra stamina at the end of the match
also noticed that IF's don't have 99 stamina anymore..

Well, we've probably played the most :-[
But, the issue we have in sharing ideas, is the co-op delivers a
different game.
Off the point - right now, the major challenge is the fact that
the guest does not have the 'standard view' at set piece time.
Yes - when you are taking a penalty, you have the standard
camera view ::).
In game though, the ability to run controlling 2 players is at
times a huge advantage. But, in defending attempting to control
players can be challenging. The first thing I do is make sure
that it's manual selection - not Auto nor Air Balls. Cannot rely
on the AI.
Am definitely slowing down the defending though - not easy, as
the tendency to 'jump in' is always there. Sometimes the AI or
switch to the player means he's out of position already. So, I
do my best to take the CB and run straight back. When they
striker starts jinking I turn around and try 'read him'. I
genuinely feel that facing the player and trying to stop is
better than running next to him. So many times the OP striker
overruns the defender or gets it back after the attempted
tackle.
Have not looked at custom tactics as yet.
We were playing against a moron so the kid used the "park the
bus" tactic. Was quite funny going forward (CAM & striker) and
the wingers were playing as fullbacks :D.

What experiences have you guys had with 433 (4) this year? Am
messing about making teams on futhead and have a possible 433(4)
team. The trouble is the two CM's. They would both be M/M but
both small and not particularly great at defending. Would this
be defensive suicide? Last year you would get countered
constantly, but with the runners this year, this team looks
dodgy. With no CDM and the CM's lack of presence and defensive
ability, would I just be inviting the usual suspects to be
straight in running on the CB's?
Any experiences with this would be appreciated!

tried it, its similar to last year, but you got countered, so WR
must be diff for the 2 CMs, one being M/H ...
i do suggest 433 (2) tough with 1 cdm ... that is better this
year

Would agree with OT - at least one CDM-type player in there.
Was a favourite formation last year, but did not find much love
at the start. So, have avoided it.

Thanks, have built my new 433 (4) team and have changed it from
what I had initially because I found a way to change one of the
CM's to Fernando from Man City, a M/H, thanks to a sneaky little
strong link between Nastasic and Ivanovic. At one stage thought
the only option I had in CB was Demichellis!
Haven't been countered too badly, no worse than any other
formation. Yet.

I have played with a couple of 433(4) teams and wasn't countered
that much. Bit I have also defenisve minded RCM and LCM well at
least one.
