SHOCK HORROR! Ultimate Team is Fun Again!!!!!! (For 1 week

The new featured tournament, Crown of Allies is actually pretty
good! 11 nationalities from 11 leagues, which basically means no
chem boosts. Play some games in it and you'll see where the main
problem lies with UT.
I was expecting teams with 11 90 pace players, but it doesn't
work that why. Nothing is OP, pace, headers, anything. It plays
like head to head and the games I've played so far have been
amazing. The through balls aren't laser guided. Aubang-a-spam
can't just blaze it down the pitch. I can't actually believe how
much better two low chem teams play against each other. Passing
and build up is more rewarding. One week of proper football on
FUT. Wow, I'm genuinely shocked!

sorry not directly quoted someone since the old EA days, had to
do it again :D im up for a game or 2 of fifa at some point, but
double XP takes full priority so not sure ill try fifa till
monday or after. Tbh i cant be bothered building a team for a
tourney anyway.

I think gameplay will only improve, all the hardcore gaming
people are already playing with the new console and thus leaves
the casual gamers with the old ones

I think this is slowly happening... Really enjoyed the first
week of FUT when the PS4 was released here in the US...
BUT now, been playing against a lot of sweaty players who just
abuse the flaws of the game... Don't get me wrong, I still
appreciate and enjoy the game, but it has been less enjoyable
lately due to the players I play against...
Somewhat, the usual abuse BS has carried over. PACE PACE
PACE... through balls after through balls.. and cross abusing
all game... I don't mind it if a player tries it from time to
time.. but to do that all game? and the whole kick-off...
pass back... sprint... lob.... chip... that thing is getting
old... There was VERY little of that, almost none, last
week.. obviously sample size was smaller since PS4 was only
released here..
I still play FUT.. I like the game.. I enjoy the tweaks and
gameplay "improvements" but yeah... the BS is slowly
switching over to next gen.

Interesting observation Nick. Tbh I've not had the slightest
inclination to head back to FUT. No guest play means no play.
Did start a new career mode - playing World Class. Tough going
in S2. Sim a lot and play with the kid. Seems like a lot of crap
as others have mentioned in that mode too.
Other than that, the kid & I will play against one another -
2/3/4 games every second/third night. That's it.
Other than the visuals of the new console, the only benefit has
been the fact that we're playing with new controllers. I have no
doubt games will get better & developers will take advantage of
the power, in the coming months.
