I dunno, something kinda funny about seeing people moaning about
an unfinished game, top comment says 'battlefield 3.8',
obviously these guys have never played fifa lol. By EA's
standards id have thought this was a fairly smooth launch of a
game.

Hey Eric. The kid did get it, but like you, not a premium member
so not able to activate as yet. Bit daft actually.

Yeah - kid is not fussed with the game tbh. So, must agree then
with the 'smooth launch' given FIFA!
Hmmm ... Every time I actually type up something re: EA, FIFA,
poor launch, poor communication ... I'm still surprised how
ridiculously bad it has been on FIFA for the past 2 years! And,
only then do we have to deal with the ludicrous community.
Whatever.

Oh really, as in he doesnt like it overly? I've been glued to
BF while this double XP is on. Not played anything else since
last week sometime. Might try to branch out tonight.
Finished the night with a cracking game of Team Deathmatch, my
team was losing all the way but a concerted effort (largely on
my part) to redress the balance worked and was surprised that we
tied the score up at 82-82 or something like that, before
slipping behind again, though the opportunity had gone as we
slipped a few behind again but next thing it was 99-99, what a
comeback! I had just respawned a bit away from the action so
didnt want to rush in and go gung-ho and gift them the last
kill, so i kinda did nothing, waited, and they got the last kill
100-99. Epic match tho.

Oops ... sorry Eric - he loves the game so far! Meant rather
that he's not fussed with crashes and some bugs for now.

Ah good stuff, no wonder, its easy to like games you are good
it. Are you still enjoying it? was the kid much of a BF3
veteran, i think from memory that he was....
Had a couple of 'epic moments' in last nights gameplay, might do
that first when i get in tonight, upload them to skydrive. how
do you post those vids in here?

It was all about COD for him - MW/MW2/BO/BO2. He never played
BF3 - last one was BF2 on PC.
Me - have not played much other than those first few Commander
games.

Ah ok i see. Dammit i was just trying to find an excuse for his
higher skill levels, ah i know must be down to the better guns
available at higher levels :P
Cheers for that Kiwi, i will post a couple of clips later to see
if you guys like. Nothing too fancy since i tend to play TDM,
maybe a sweet grenade kill and another one where i mow down
about 3 people at once :)

every since D!CE became part of the EA family the serie went a
bit down the hill. These problems we never faced on previous
episodes.
