Vast majority of those ovr ratings are pure tosh. I 1st thought
'Zola was a magician but he was never an 87', then I looked at
the rest....

Now now Cuz ... don't let your anti-UT sentiment cloud your
judgement of these phenomenal cards that some 19yo at EA has
drafted.
We shouldn't be critical of the hours of Youtube videos that he
had to go through to derive those stats.

Agreed. Fowlers finishing should be very high but he wasn't one
for spanking the ball in from anywhere.
Nevilles passing, he was a great crosser of the ball, not
whipped like Beckham but accurate and consistent. That sums up
his game really, wasn't blessed with great vision so he wouldn't
attempt passes that would cost the team if they failed, he was
good at maintaining possession for the team. I don't think 78 is
far too high considering what that could mean for his in game
stats, solid short passing, strong crossing and low vision,
average long passing.
The one that really screams absolute nonsense is 78 pace on
Sheringham, a famously paceless player. If they gave him 65 I'd
think it was OTT.
Pace is way too much on most of them tbh. 80 on Neville is a
joke, low to mid 70s at best.

Teddy was about 40 pace, with about another 65 in his head.
Hang on.. yup, that's about 105.

So happy playstation doesn't have those (yet), how can they give
the best striker ever stats like that?
He played in the best competition of that era, against opponents
that only wanted to defend, games ended 0-0 more then anything
else. and still he managed 20+ goals

sidenote that man crossing the ball to V. Basten against Russia
died last month, he was known for his great crosses and was
really not happy being remembered for the worst cross he ever
made ;D
