So with FM14 just around the corner and with the Beta out
already, it's time to get stuck into some Football Manager
goodness.
Maybe have a post with your career in it and then we can just
chat about the game.

Wolfsburg
Current Season 1 (March)
Current Position 3rd
Cups Semis of German Cup (to be played)
Transfers In Beister
Transfers Out -
Looks like I will be making the Champions League next season as
I have a 9 point cushion to 4th (Schalke) although Bayern and
BVB are running away with the title. Only brought in Beister at
the start of the season and no-one in January as finances are a
bit tight. Going to lose my star men Diego and Olic on frees in
the summer after their bastard agents demanded to much and their
contracts expire this summer. But CL football should improve
the financial position and allow me to replace them.
Highlight of the season so far must be an 84th minute freekick
winner by a youth players (Arnold) against Bayern.

Luton Town - Conference
My aim - Promotion to the Football a League within 2 Years where
I will probably resign to manage another non league team
Currently - 4th after 8 games, 2 games in hand & 1 point behind

Since there is a thread for this when I was a kid I never had a
PC but one of my mates did & he had a very early version of
Champ Man :o
Matt Le Tissier was king back then & we managed Man Utd iirc we
signed 'LeGod' & played him upfront with Cantona & Kanchelskis
on the wing
What a side !!!
I used to head round most nights & I think we played about 20
seasons before we got bored & resigned
In another summer holiday/week end venture shortly after the
Fifa International Soccer game was released on the mega drive we
'Co-oped' although it wasn't even referred to as that back then,
a German career for ourselves. I can still remember Picknell &
Plank (what great German names :D ) we did World Cup draws,
qualifiers the whole works
Being an adult is 5hit. :D

2012/13 - 3rd Prem / CL QF - Hired as Belgium Manager ;D

2014/15 - 2nd Prem / CL 1st KO Rd
Currently 17th Jan, 2nd in Prem, 4pts behind Arsenal >:(

2016 - left for Atelico Madrid
Basingstoke: Just been promoted up to BSq Premier

Best player I ever signed on Champ was without doubt Cherno
Samba. Guy was a goal machine.

Ahh the Football Manager games back on PS1 and PS2 were epic. I
remember you could save your FM05 career for example and then
play the actual game in fifa 05. Only problem was it took about
20 minutes to export the game each time
