Podcast..anyone?

So...started listening to some Podcast in the last couple of
months.
Listening is a virtue that I tend to overlook because of all the
visual candy that our entertainment world has to offer
nowadays..
Now when I drive home from work (30-40 minute drive) I fire up
one of these podcast and I must admit I'm totalling enjoying it.
Working with numbers /spreadsheets all day sometimes lends to a
lot of yawning and boredom..so podcast is part of overcoming
them..put on your earphones and away you go.
So here goes.
Some of my favorites:
99% invisible
This American Life.
ThaT American Life
Future Tense
Studio 360
Sex talk Podcast (no holds barred ;D)
Savage lovecast...
Lots of football too and other sports that might interest you.
Official Barclays podcast.
Talking Fussball(Bundesliga)
ESPN FC.
hobbies Podcast: A lot..................

I listen to a ton of Arsenal podcasts, some of them are better
than others ofcourse. One had Piers Morgan on one week and
Adrian Durham on another week... interesting to hear their
thoughts about Arsenal and Durham especially about some of the
finer points of talksport i.e. why he's perceived as
anti-Arsenal etc.

My music listening habits are entirely down to the podcast
phenomena. Followed a few up a number of years ago and nowadays
my playlist is just a constant turnover of mixtapes in all sorts
of genres, sometimes many in one. Really is an endless variety
of good d/ls out there.

@Cuz saw your comment on the summary page..I can relate to you
about not listening to people when they just talk and talk and
talk.. but there are some podcast that where the host is a
great story teller/narrator...just like a great writer that
could weave through the story with ease and gives you a distinct
visual image in your mind.
Reminds me of days long gone when my mother used to sit on my
bedside before bedtime and tell fairy tales of Rapunzel and
Rumplestilskin.....
This American life is one such podcast..

Tbh, I'm just massive for tunes, I take even the smallest
opportunity to get my headphones in at work.
