A Season of stats

As most of you will be aware I'm not an active Fut participant
this season but do enjoy the Over 30's community so to stay in
touch thought I'd start this thread for you all to follow:
A season of stats
Background - in my youth (well mid 20's & younger) I was a very
good hockey player. I played to the second highest league in the
country & as a schoolboy had England trials. Then I blew my knee
out & much like Darren Anderton & Chris Kirkland became all to
familiar with my physios & less familiar with my hockey stick -
I have not played a full season or anything amounting to a full
season in nearly 8 years
Current day - at the (in here at least) tender spring chicken
like age of 33/34 this season I'm finally entering a campaign
injury free !! & being the geek that I am thought I'd MiCoach &
Heart Rate monitor myself up & track my stats this season
The Plan
Season starts today !
Although I'm no longer playing at the top level doesn't mean I
can't still give it all & outrun the youth of the team (I'm the
oldest by about 6 years from the next oldest) so I will let you
all know our results, how long I run for & also my heart rate
tracking data - let's hope I actually make it through the season
:D
I know Kiwi is something of a Statto too so if he can research
say Steven Gerard's Opta Stats ;) we can see how lazy I
actually am :D

Good luck bud, im expecting numerous goals and assists supported
by a unnervingly steady heart rate the whole time :)

All the best buddy, hope that creaky body of yours holds up. I
know the frustration of repetitive injury myself but I don't
think it particularly hampered my er.. potential isn't quite the
right word....

I assume that's the football team - I play hockey & am in the
second team mate, don't think there is a team picture of the
seconds on the club website

Boots (a) tomorrow - That's a place in Nottingham, we are not
literally playing a pair of old boots :D
Will not be rushing home though as I have to go to Walsall for a
charity fundraiser.
Will update you all on sunday I imagine.
