Manual, no. Pretty much default for me, the only thing I changed
was player switching to high balls only. Dunno if that means I'm
on semi or assisted or what, need to check. Think I will
definitely look at the switch move assistance... Some serious
shenanigans going on there this year.

They are all brilliant . Turan is fantastic . assist per game
and a goal every other game . he is so silky on the ball .
it is my fav team by far .
Drogba is just massive i this game .

About to play final number 7... ::)
and lost that one too...he shot 13 times from 40 yards out and 1
of them hit the target.
I never get the second ball, any of you have pointers for that?
opponents always get that extra ball, I just never react in time
for those
Finally won the tournament.. ;D

hv played a couple of games after the patch, seemed to me less
annoying ... finesses are not going in always, you can defend
cross and corners now, first touch did not feel that horrible, i
found it ok to be honest ...
also matchmaking has been sorted (i guess) ... after the games
checked the stats page on ea site and looked into opponents.
last nite in div7, we got matched up respectively div
7,7,7,6,7,7
the nite before in div7, it was 5,7,7,5,6,5
and ea levels of opponents were from 20 to 75 ...
interesting ...

I think i spoke too soon when i said finesse's were still a
problem after conceding a late one.
Tried a good few myself later and the keeper def seemed a bit
better at saving them. There was one at least where i thought
it would be in all the way only for keeper to save it.

played about 10 games after the patch....the game is worse than
before. Finesse shots are Op (a guy scored a finesse shot
straight from the kick off ???), heading may be toned down but
instead the lob pass is more effective with your defenders
standing like zombies.
Think I have had it with Golds. I am not in control of the
outcome of any match. It feels like EA has decided the outcome
of every single game in divisions. I win where I should have
lost and the other way around. I am basicly done after two game
sessions.
Will sleep over it but it looks like I am going to sell all
Golds, keep some bronzes (have to give them a good try to see if
the BS is also over there) and that is FUT14 for me this year.
On the bright side of life: tried the demo of BF4 and gosh it
does feels like a real BF again! Looking forward to spend a lot
of time over there.

oh dear Glad, you were one of the biggest supporters as well a
few days ago.
I did footer with all my settings last night as well. Hadnt
really crossed my mind but after NDP mentioning it the other day
and some bad results, really unresponsive player switching i
went and checked my settings.
Have now put switching to air balls (might have been that
already) but assistance on low for it, hate defenders that step
up when you gain control of them. Tried it full manaul at first
but defending corners was impossible so had to put it to air
balls.
The big thing i done tho and humble apologies to NDP following
my rant against this the other day, but these times are a
changing. So i switched to assisted passing, the only ones i
left semi were crossing and shooting. I have to say i did
notice the difference in the passing. My link up in the final
3rd feels a good bit more assured. Its not perfect but i do
think its slightly better than it was.

I'm starting to like it, still annoyed those long balls from the
back create more changes then the slow possession build up play
and I have to get used to not winning as much as last year
because matchmaking is much better and with my account created
september 2009 obviously you gonna get better opponents, because
of the matchmaking games are much more interesting and not so
many kids play against me, oh and I'm not going to waste my time
playing divisions and golds, the 2 games I played with those I
quit at half time.
