So more than 20 games under the belt. In summary:
       - you really have to get used to the gameplay
       - strenght can be the new pace......
       - Benteke is Godly
       - Martinez is a good second best
       - opponents are still assholes....celebrating after a stupid
       goal >:(
       - people still build their squads around pace...just trashed a
Serie A with Sau and Ibarbo up front (4-1).....pace is really
       nerved down
       - prices are rising as we speak
       - crosses are lethal (IF you have strikers with good heading
       stats)
       - thinking 1 or 2 steps ahead helps, you can pass before
receiving the ball , no troubles with controlling
       - defenders should clear the ball out of the box, don't think
you can football your way out of it.

At this stage after 13 games my opinion is i would rather switch
       back to PES :o :o
This 2 touch control they have put in the game it's like playing
with constant lag, I for one liked the little bit faster paced
games compared to seasons that was the appeal of UT for me i
hate the slow 1-0 1-1 2-1 games in seasons, now UT has become
       and expensive version of seasons.
For me it has lost its appeal it is BORING

I actually dont know if im gonna buy this for 360!!
Dunno not really feeling the vibe for FIFA at the moment, I feel
like this could be part of my rehab, not sure i want this game
taking over my life again. Sounds stupid but i kinda mean it,
dunno if im ready to do this whole thing again. Quite fancy
biding my time till Xbox One anyway, nice wee break from the
       madness.

it is getting a bit dark in here. Same as every year actually.
Well, I will be hooked and I don't mind. Everrybody did scream
in FUT12 about the OP finess shot, in FUT13 about pace abuse and
in FUT14 we will scream about something else. It will not be
perfect but I really feel that this year it is an improvement
       compared to last year.

I can understand why people aren't enjoying the new game, but it
seems like EA can't win to an extent.
They try to listen to the complaints about pace and the game not
being realistic, add a new dribbling system which is a pretty
good representation of how people control the ball in real life
(i.e. touches are often loose and uncertain), and a lot of
people still dislike it. The same with things like chipped
       throughies, crosses, and corners.

Bloody hell Glad its not that dark, I just expressed fact i
wasnt sure if i was going to get the game on Friday. Each to
their own, if i dont its not because i hate the game or feel
like being all doom and gloom, lots of reasons really.
Agree with Dutty, i think the game did seem a good improvement
over '13 but you get a whole new set of complaints this time,
and some not so new. Its just the way it is with fifa, not
       going to please everyone.

take it easy Eric, I wasn't saying you were dark. ;)
I always wanted the game more a SIM than a arcade game it was
before. I really like it that:
       - playing the ball blindly forward means that it will end up in
no mans land, in FUT12 for some odd reason the striker had
magnets and had a perfect control. I can see 14 years old crying
that blindly given lob passes doesn't work anymore
       - the strenght of the pass has more influence now. I used to
push the button and automatically it went to the other player,
now it feels more semi-manual (have to check my settings tho
       :D)
       - ball control finally matters, players like Costa do feel
       different than Shirkov
       - last year I got pissed on the super human keepers....this year
they do make some mistakes, but obvious goals are obvious goals
       - I have less chances but score more
       just to name a few

Right, 15 or so games in and first impressions are very good a
some of you have said some get feel a bit stagnant and may only
be separated by a clumsy scramble in the box or a last minute
header from a corner. But that being said I would take that over
7-7ping pong hundred mile an hour game anyway. It seems as
though all of the things the community have asked for are now
the exact things they are complaining about. However I am in the
agreement that headers seem quite strong. But other than that I
think the game play is a massive improvement and feels A lot
more realistic to play and the reward for making good moves or
beating your are a lot greater.
I love the fact that pace is not the driving force and that
plays a massive part I really feel the balance of speed and
agility vs brute strength and positioning has been balanced
perfectly. Finally intelligent football> pace pace pace..
So overall I'm pretty pleased, it's definitely gonna take some
getting used to and no doubt I will contradict everything I've
just said in the coming weeks but for now I'm happy.
Also forgot to mention but the interface overhaul is a massive
improvement in every way so far, so much easier to do everything
       it seems.

some more games, won 2 consecutive and promoted to div 9...
       getting used to it...
saw in rob's twitter that, there is going to be a patch for
headers/crosses and finesse shots which is not in place yet,
guess that is going to come with the retail release. so that is
       good news...
based on adv, played some skill games, better at dribbling (the
silver dribbling game was fun, the moving dummies and you hv to
dribble in between, could not do it, tried many times, once came
to very last but knocked the last dummy, dang) and passing now.
i still can not adjust how to stand against the attacker while
       defending.
now what annoys me most is when a player is getting a pass while
standing backwards to opponent goal, it takes ages to control
and turn your face, while most of the time pressed by opp
attackers and losing the ball... need more practise
