So are you saying that if you use manual switching you'll be
alright... otherwise you're screwed?

Agree with Clrx here. Have had some weird changes and LB mashing
doesn't work effectively. I think my switching is still on 'high
balls only' and it's still clunky.

First release is generally to an area where they will generate
enough load to start to test out the code on gear, but not
enough to completely blitz a system.

was just a tongue in cheek reference to some convo that took
place in GD earlier about places where retailers broke the sale

As someone said, they go for between about 400-700, even for the
really bad ones! Normally from the afternoon the cup starts and
the day after that. Any longer and people start to sell and the
market is flooded. Also remember to keep the Northern Ireland
ones as well.
In A few months we'll see what's what with prices, and clean up
come March!

I wouldn't go that far. IMO manual switching has always kinda
had an advantage, it is more pronounced this year IMO. From
what I am getting in the game, so far, is that EA took the whole
"anti-contain" thing to heart and went the extreme opposite,
where "do it yourself" defenders will have some advantage.
on a completely unrelated note, I have found skill moves to be
far easier to pull off this year against opponents since they
removed a lot of the cheese auto-defending features. Chops and
heel clicks are very useful. I do not like that they removed
the "right stick direction" to push the ball out in front of
you.

Isn't that still there - just that you need to hold the RT at
the same time? Think that's what the kid mentioned. not 100%
sure tho'

contain?

One of the key mistakes to make this year in defending, is
storming in. Momentum - in the true sense plays a big role (Noun
- The quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product
of its mass and velocity. / The impetus gained by a moving
object. )
Your player doesn't stop on a dime - this is why I believe slow
CBs will be quite effective as they just cannot storm forward
like a 77-81 paced player. Those 1.9m tall behemoths with pace
are being caught out getting way too quickly to the attacker.
Controlled dribbling (LT) will easily get past that.
