Thought it might be best to start a thread for people's views on
FUT14 otherwise they may get lost in a range of threads
It might help me decide if I should get this game at all, the
demo left me feeling a little meh ...
Please let me know what you think lads, cheers

as every year I have to get used to it again. First touch is
really bad. Before you can control the ball it takes
ages.....pace seems to be nerfed down a bit. As long as you are
not caught in a one on one it is okay. Strenght is dominant over
pace. Lost 4 games in seasons, very bad start. Should have at
least won 2 but be prepared for the return of the 90th minute
goal. Got two against me >:(. Also crosses are lethal....having
strikers with good heading stats are a big plus!
Goalkeeper AI.....is in one word AWEFUL. All second balls are
dropped before the opponents' striker. really bad
I have only come across fully loaded teams. Van Persie, Cavanni,
etc. It looks like only the addicted are playing it right now so
I hope that once the disc is out my opposition will get a bit
worse although I played pretty balanced games.
Oh and a big plus for me: Kerzhakov is back..... :D

coins bonusses are back.....currently getting 1000 extra per
game and increased my trading slots to a whoopy 70!!!

game is ok, need time to adjust... played 2 games lost both, am
playing with a bronze team with 65 chem in seasons, faced with
bundes teams. because of the changes glad mentioned, i need CMs
with ball control, passing, agility high. it take ages to
control the ball and turn (maybe my bronzes i dunno). game feels
slower, but there is sth, i cant explain, sth is missing about
fluidity, dunno... its too early...
ha btw, sobs left right centre, both rivals i had was employing
air lob ball, speedy strikers up front, and after 60th minute
passing in the back...
some things never change...

i have made drastic changes to my game settings
- camera change
- AUTO switching
i find it impossible to defend without it .
Heading is so OP its ridiculous . I have had a 4 goal header
game with Klose .
It is sluggish . Plyers play like they are in quicksand .
The push pull thing is so OP that big strong cbs just overpower
strikers from behind
I think i lost like 8 in a row before getting 2 wins .
The fell of the game is the same whether bronze or gold .

nice you can now buy a contract item that gives your player 99
contracts :o
btw: FUT is unavailable at the moment....some things never
change

Personally, and something I mentioned a few days/weeks with the
demo, this game can be really good. However it's going to take
time mastering it. There are changes from the previous release &
it should be that way.
I'm not saying it feels great - but it is something I would hope
that I get better at.

Agreed Kiwi, once you master it I feel it will be really good
but right now, damn it's tough.
