**Road to 8 figures**

I made it to 10 million coins this year quite late into FUT but
using all the experience I gained, and as I shan't be buying
players for teams I shouldn't lose as many coins. So basically
this is a thread that I will use to document my progress from 0
--> 10,000,000c.

lewis, that is an interesting number to reach... i can never
make it, or even get close to...
tops i hv made was 2.5 M and i spent a lot of money on packs,
got some players and sold them...
so you are going to try to reach 10M simply by just trading?
in any case, good luck with that...

I made it this year only spending £25 on packs on release and I
got nothing in them so I pretty much made 10M by trading (and
the 300-400k match coins I got.) And you can't make 10M solely
by trading you need to invest heavily in IFs, capitalise on
player hype, e.g. when Falcao scored 5 goals in a game last year
his price rose 10k and I made 150k of him in the space of
10mins. It is difficult and you have to invest a lot of time an
have a bit of luck but it is possible.

i see what you mean... of course to play that big, you hv to
have a lot of coins, that is how you can invest on IFs....
from the very start, you hv to dedicate time and effort on it. i
tried 3 years ago when started, but then i realized, i was just
trading not playing any games, then said whats the point ? now i
try to do a bit of both, more balanced and less time
consuming...

I really can't be bothered with trading. Did a lot for the 1st
4mths on 12 but got burned out on it. Ended up with just as much
coin this year purely thru team turnover. I have 8 or so bronze
teams atm but I've built 98 teams of various levels throughout
the year, that's quite a lot of players sold. There's not much
you can't do with 700k, teams worth more than that are, ahem,
prettier than they are effective it seems.... On 12 I could
afford to try Ronaldo and Messi at different points. This year
was a little different but I wasn't fussed. Having them on 12
brought a stigma that I didn't enjoy.
Fair play to you Lewis, for making such a success of it. I'll
beg off you later ;D

I think you have to really enjoy trading to be successful at it
and I do really enjoy it. And as I'm not playing any games this
year I have nothing to get in the way of it. And Cuz if you're
on PS3 or anyone for that matter then the only thing I would do
with the coins is sell them so once I have enough to fund a
PS4/xbox 1 and new TV... I will have nothing to do with them so
I shall be giving them to you lovely people ;D

I'm with Cuz... in that I didn't reach a million.
But then I only started in January, and even then didn't have a
clue what I was doing.
And I stopped around June time, at about 600k.
Still don't really have a clue what I am doing ;D
Don't follow all the news and gossip - don't do you tube, or
forums (this one aside).
I just pick a selection of players and buy and sell them for
profit.
I find the more expensive players harder to make profit on,
because you rely on the market rises, rather than numpties who
overpay.
The cheaper the players the more willing people are to just buy
it at 'whatever price'.
People generally research IF pricing, and buy the cheapest on
the market, because they are spending more.
So it's all about predicting the market with the premium
players...
Back playing Football Manager again now. Forgotten how damned
addictive it is.
