always thought reactions for a defender is a major stat..guess
not

Dont want to be the doom and gloomer - but at this time all the
focus is on new card design , stats , new formations etc .
reality is ALL i care about is better gameplay . i have been
playing a bit recently and you realise just how crap the game
play really is because INTELLIGENCE is missing from the game .
The more you try and play an intelligent game , the more you
realise that the players are jut not up to it . The game is
currently designed for pacing and crossing . The defenders are
designed to be utterly useless against the most basic player
movement .
i recently switched to mostly manual and i noticed that manual
thru balls are just not as good as auto except fo certain
specific situations . Basically the game becomes your AI vs
his AI and who takes advantage of those "errors" the best .
Dominating possession and actually trying to pass / move is a
hiding to nothing because players outrun he ball . I have
games where i dominate possession , and every other measurable
statistic and yet create fewer goal scoring chances because my
opponent can simply hammer long ball after long ball and the
game will magically create clean chances .
UT 13 is a bad game . Unless the actually game play is A LOT
better , no matter how nice the cards or the formations etc - UT
14 will be just as bad .

Yeah WClass I agree.
New formations, unlimited consumables etc. is all great, but if
Esswein, Welliton, Santana then Wynne, Opara etc. are the best
players in the game... what's the point

Absolutely bang on the money mate.
I am so hacked off with building great teams and trying to play
good passing football with them and getting hammered.
I am desperately hoping they fix all that is wrong with.
I do not expect for one moment, that they will fix any of it.
And why would they?
People still buy it in their millions, and most of them love it.
Perhaps GTA is they way to go.
Spend all evening hanging with my 03O bros... 8)

Furthermore...
All I hope is that they ditch this handicapping mallarky.
I just want to be able to build a 'better' and 'better' team,
and feel it get better.
Earn coins, buy better players, and play better.
Isn't that the idea?
