       Newcastle United have signed Northern Ireland goalkeeper Lilie
       Woods from Mid Ulster.
       Woods, 20, came through the academy at Mid Ulster and helped the
       club to promotion to the Women's Premiership in 2022.
       She won her first Northern Ireland cap in July's friendly win
       over the Czech Republic.
       "I am very excited to be here and to be a part of this team,"
       Woods said.
       "It feels great to sign for a club like Newcastle and I can't
       wait to get started and help the team improve and win as many
       games as possible."
       Newcastle are currently top of FA Women's National League North
       - the northern section of the third tier of women's football in
       England.
       Woods will provide competition with goalkeepers Grace Donnelly,
       Hannah Reid and Elen Valentine.
