and our weemin are beyond crap!
Over hyped nonsense the lot of it.

The women's team took a big crowd to Wembly. There have been
decent crowds at quite a few of the games. It's hardly the peak
of the game, but it's a work in progress.

I know I'll be slated, but if truth be told, most football fans
couldn't give a fiddlers about weemins football.
[/quote]I've been to 7 or 8 NI Womens internationals and tbh,
often I've enjoyed them as much - if not more - than some of the
Mens internationals I've suffered down the years - remember
Sammy McIlroy's time in charge?
The point being that the two games are different, with each
having its own attractions. Which is why comparing Womens'
football directly with the Mens' game and expecting the same is
pretty pointless (imo).

This 100%. I haven't really enjoyed the football under Oxtoby,
but I did enjoy it under Shiels.

The NI ladies' Euro play-off wins against Ukraine, away and at
home, were the NI football highlights of the Covid era, both
achieved with injury-weakened teams. Inspiring. I agree that it
hasn't been the same since Shiels left. He signed off with a 1-0
win against Italy. Oxtoby got nowhere near that kind of result,
or performance.
