Anyway, no-one is saying she got tonight's goal right, just that
she was unlucky for one of the goals in the previous
game.
You'd argue a black crow was white.
That cross looped in from waaaaaaay out on the left hand side.
As a goalie she should've judged the flight of the ball, taken a
few step back, and tipped it over the bar.
Let's try another way, then.
She was at fault for the goal in Hungary because she was off her
line.
And she was at fault for the goal at Seaview because she stayed
on her line.
Have I got that right?

No. She was at fault for not reading the flight of the ball. She
had plenty of time to take a couple of steps back and tip it
away.

No. She was at fault for that because she flapped about instead
of catching/punching/blocking or doing anything to interfere
with the flight of the ball into her net.

If I say yes, can we stop?

Ultra-comfortable 4-0 win out in Albania this afternoon, against
a very poor opponent:

Nice, easy warm-up for the big game against the Ooh-Ah girls on
Tuesday evening.

And the Republic's 1-0 win against Hungary means we're 2nd in
the group. Probably will need to beat the Republic to stay 2nd
as I'd expect Hungary to beat Albania pretty comfortably.
The performance tonight was better than in recent games, albeit
against weak opponents. Hopefully a confidence booster though
and it was nice to see Magill getting a couple of goals

We might scrape through with a draw if Hungry dont score too
many in their game, here's hoping anyway [emoji106]

Just over an hour to KO
Northern Ireland will be taking on Montenegro in the first leg
of the play-off at the Gradski Stadion in the Montenegrin
capital tomorrow (23 February) and the game is set to kick off
at 1pm UK time.
And then it’s back to Belfast for the return leg at the
National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Tuesday (27
February). That game has a 7pm start.
Both matches will be streamed live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC
Sport NI website.

Another BBC game where the commentators are talking over the
game, rather than talking about it. Case in point? Demi Vance
has just made a mistake leading to a corner. The commentators
are talking about who should be playing on the wing.
