Strange what football does to you, even when 4 nil up I told the
ref to f*CK off when he added 6 minutes on. Apart from a couple
of chances linfield were fairly comfortable. Strange build up
with the club releasing a statement about an hour beforehand
stating David Healy and some players and back room staff didn't
travel to the game for a variety of reasons
What variety of reasons though? Seems completely bizarre to play
a game like that with the manager absent. Granted, they got the
job done.
Brilliant result from Larne what a a European debut season for
them!
This is what the club said:
"Close examination of the team sheets will reveal that a number
of club personnel have unfortunately been unavailable for this
trip to Bosnia, due to a wide variety of injury or personal
reasons that were known to the club in advance of travel to
Banja Luka"
If the players just had injuries it seems strange not to say so
earlier in the week. The wording and timing of the statement
seems a little strange to me

Linfield with an early goal tonight
Linfield lead 1-0!! Billy Chadwick runs in behind and slips the
ball through the legs of the goalkeeper for his first Linfield
goal!

CS Fola Esch equalised with a goal by a player who scored for
Luxembourg when they defeated NI in a World Cup qualifier.

First live game in 18 months timed well to see one of the worst
performances I've seen from linfield in a long time. never seen
a team give the ball away so much

Just picking up on this now.
Ģinfield lost at home to a Luxembourg team, who previously lost
their champions league qualifier 7-2 to Lincoln Red Imps of
Gibraltar?
Jesus wept....

When you put it like that, it really is diabolical. Let's hope
Larne can pull off something spectacular tonight!

I only seem the first hour or so and Larne were doing well.
Terrible mistake from the keeper for the first goal

Great result for Larne even if it didn't mean a whole lot in
terms of the tie but will mean an awful lot to the club and it's
fans going forward.
Absolutely awful from Linfield. That was a very poor team that
we couldn't beat. First leg performance was terrible,
consistently giving the ball away. Second leg was better but if
you don't take your chances you don't deserve to get through
