Fair play to coleraine, that was some effort to get back into
the game.
Linfield on the other hand were absolutely shocking. Boyle and
Clarke in particular I don't think passed the ball to a team
mate all night.

Kearney said after the game that the players were devastated,
and rightly so as they were very very unlucky. The three
penalties that were saved weren't the best, but still top class
from Carson to save three in a row!
Any time I flicked over to the Linfield game, they were
terrible. Passes going everywhere. The competition pathway means
Floriana now play FC Flora of Estonia, who Linfield could have
had a chance beating also.

Linfield get Zalgiris Vilnius of Lithuania. Definitely glad to
avoid Dinamo Zagreb and Ferencvaros but will still be a tricky
game I think

Coleraine get FK Velez from Bosnia and Herzegovina, While
Glentoran are facing The New Saints of Wales.

Larne got Bala of Wales. Decent draw for Glens and Larne. Don't
know anything about Coleraines opponents but anyone from that
neck of the woods are difficult opponents usually

So Larne finally qualify for Europe and don't even need to dust
down their passports lol.
Good draw though for the fans. Looks like a plastic pitch too
which will suit them.

I've done some googling and it appears Bala's (tiny) ground
isn't up to hosting European games, so they play instead at
Belle Vue, the home of Rhyl FC:
HTML https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/others/rhyl-belle-vue-stadium.html
This appears to be quite a tidy ground, with a total capacity of
3,000, including 1,720 seats. So that even if Covid means they
can only offer a reduced capacity, that should still be more
than enough for all who wish to attend, helped by the fact that
with three separate seated stands, segregation should be
possible.
And as you say, it could be good for any Larne fans who may want
to make the trip (Rhyl is reasonably handy for Liverpool), but
will away fans be permitted? (Unsure)
Also, it appears to have a grass pitch.

It has been confirmed no away fans in the qualifying or play off
rounds, UEFA will review this before the groups. Still, I
imagine there a number of "resourceful" chaps following our
local clubs!

Fairly poor stuff from Linfield tonight. No quality in attacking
play giving the ball away too much.
Penalty decision for the 2nd goal looked incredibly harsh but
they weren't good enough over the 90 minutes.
Maybe had the away goal rule still applied we would have half a
chance of getting through but looks like an uphill battle

Decent results all round for the three teams playing on Europe
tonight especially Larne picking up a win in their first
European game but I'd say the glens Ans Coleraine will be
confident ahead of the 2nd legs
