Seems my fans have missed me - particularly those who even took
the time to post 😂. If only I'd known, I have dropped
everything to report in.
Losing those 2 late goals last week and not taking our chances
at Windsor were our downfall. Johns pulled off a good save when
they were through on a 1 on 1, but they didn't create much apart
from that. As Simon-613 points out, we had the chance to play
the game out. Palmer could headed to the corner, even have
crossed the ball to Devine to tap it into an empty net, but
instead passed it back to their keeper. Ultimately, it wasn't to
be.

Thanks for the update from the Glens twitter account, glad to
see that despite your recent last minute metaphorical 'kick in
the balls' you're still all over everything Glentoran.
Then ............. just when I thought things couldn't get any
funnier ................. along come Carrick Rangers - LOL

This year's draw
Larne got HJK Helsinki
Linfield got Vllaznia of Albania
Crues got FC Haka of Finland
Glens got Gzira of Malta
All seem difficult enough. Don't know much about the Albanians
or the Maltese sides but Gzira beat Hajduk Split recently and
the Scandinavian sides are always strong at this stage

Decent result for Larne losing the away leg 1 nil. Went a goal
down after 3 minutes to a penalty but played well after that and
should have scored themselves but will be confident ahead of the
home leg

Fairly positive set of results this week. All the sides at home
for the second leg should be confident.
Linfield should have been a lot more comfortable before the 2nd
leg but that late goal has me a lot more worried for the away
game

88th minute goal for Larne gives them a 2-1 win over 90 minutes
and match goes to extra time.

Finished 2 all after extra time so larne drop into the
conference league. Sounds like it was a bit of a missed
opportunity

Blues and Cries through. Glens out on penalties.
Only watched the Linfield game and we were pretty poor. Need to
learn how to keep the ball better in these European away games.
Crues play Rosenberg next
Linfield play MKLS Pogon Szczecin of Poland
