If they put everyone behind the ball probably 4 or 5. But
doesn't help when no one is closing players down and not just
letting them shoot or put balls into the box. No one really
seemed to react to what was happening

So probably 2 or 1 goals fewer than Roma conceded having 11
       players for 90 mins.
The game was over after 20 minutes.

What's a game last season got to do with anything? I didn't
expect us to go through but I expect the team to be able to
adapt to what's happening in a game and in my opinion they
didn't do that tonight and ended up being embarrassed

A game from last season against the winners of the Conference
League should give a realistic expectation of what was in store.
Or maybe it doesn’t when playing with 10 men for 70 minutes.

They have had a turnover of players from then so it doesn't have
that much relevance to last night and even if it did it doesn't
change the my opinion that Linfield got their tactics wrong and
when it became obvious early on that the game was beyond us
there wasn't a quick enough reaction from the manager and his
staff to try and stop it but anyway we will have to agree to
       disagree on this

Didn't get to see the game but that's an impressive result for
the Crues especially as they made such hard work of putting out
the magpies in the round before , I'm sure Basle would have been
expecting it to be a walkover

Crues played very well last night. Had a great chance in the
first minute which had they scored would certainly have made it
interesting. Great atmosphere at Seaview though that was due to
the Basel Ultras!! Never stopped for the whole 90 minutes. Basel
are clearly a level (or 2) above but the Crues stuck to their
task and weren't overawed. All in all they were well worth a
       draw.

I didn't think Basel were that great. Their number 21 was
frequently beaten by Ross Clarke - indeed it became pretty clear
that Baxter had instructed the team to attack down the side he
was defending. I thought the Basel number 8 and number 7 were a
wee bit above the rest of the players on the pitch. I think
Basel turned up thinking they just had to turn up. If that first
minute chance had gone in though.. I also thought that the Crues
were up for it. Jordan Owen's comedy booking (think NI Ladies
versus Ukraine sending off), and a bit of nastiness from Heatley
towards the end aside the game was played in a good spirit.
Certainly if I were a team of the calibre of Brondby who they
play in the next round, I wouldn't be too alarmed by what they
are facing. It's also the first game I've ever been to when I
was able to have a pint in the stands while watching. So good
       all round then...
