I quite like this effort from Phil McCarroll (not sure if he
still posts on here) and co-written by former international Ian
Stewart

It's a really good sport anthem. Wonder how Ian Stewart got
involved?

Think Ian Stewart is in a band away from his IFA role (if he's
still there) he's also good friends with Sex Pistols drummer
Paul Cook given Cookie is a QPR fan and IS an ex player.

I remember getting Ian to sign my copy of the 1986 song at a
record store n Belfast, and he asked me what I am wasting money
on this shit for! The went on to talk about his band and the
Paul Cook connection.

I came on to post about the song Exhausted posted above (thaks
for sharing that mate...I do intend to drop by here more
often!). I've worked with Ian Stewart for years through Sounds
of NI...promoting local gigs & bands etc...he's a good mate, but
this is the first time we've ever sat down to write a song
together! The whole band The Back Four is made up NI musicians,
with a fantastic guest vocalist Rwanda Shaw, from Lisburn. It's
fair to say our tune is something a bit different from the
official IFA one...we'd appreciate the GAWA sharing the track
around :)
