Womens U-17's Euro's- Our Wee Cutties win promotion from their g
roup!

NI's U-17's have just completed a third victory in 3 games out
in Israel to win their Euro Group B (Qualifying Round 2)
Last Thursday they beat Luxembourg 2-1, then the Faroes 3-0 on
Sunday:

And earlier this afternoon they topped the group with a 2-0 win
over Israel:

I honestly can't say exactly where this leaves them, since the
UEFA website is less than clear:

But I think NI were previously relegated from Group A, hence
their being in Group B this time, but these latest results mean
they have now gained promotion back to League A for QR1 of the
2022-23 edition of the competition.
Or something.
Anyhow Alfie Wylie's girls have just won three in a row, so that
must be good news!

This includes a full video of the game in real time, lasting 2
hours. Going by the match report, I fast forwarded through it to
find the goals on 31.40 mins and 87.00 mins (match timer, not
youtube timer):

Also caught a great effort on 16 mins by Stubbs and a cracking
yellow card for Quigg on 30.00 - more "Geraldine Taggart" than
"Joanna Evans", that's for sure!
All told I was very impressed by the skill, effort and
athleticism of these girls - it is easy to forget they're only
16 or 17.

The current team just bate Turkey 2-0 away again gaining
promotion at under 17 level.
